Dr.Smith and the dental hygienists attend to our entire family. Just recently our 3yr old had an emergency and the team got us in right away, guided us through the process of extraction at a North Coast Jaw in Westlake, and ensured all paperwork and X-rays were in place for next day appointment. The practice knows us personally and is extremely accommodating. We've been there for 6 years now.

From the minute you walk in the door of this office the staff is friendly, courteous and professional.
My cleaning today was great and very thorough!
As always Dr. Smith is the best at what he does and it is a pleasure to visit!

I've been a patient for about 5 years now and have always had a positive experience at this office. Everyone here takes their time, answers your questions, and ensures you're comfortable with what's going on. The dentist and hygienists are very knowledgeable and take pride in their work but still easy-going. The receptionist staff is super organized and thorough. Overall, a great dental office.

I have found a different practice and discovered my tooth is in decent shape; there is no need for extraction at this time. As this directly contradicted Dr. Smith's level of concern, I sought a 3rd opinion. It matched the second. Dr. Smith was creating a very expensive problem where there is none.

I was wholeheartedly terrified of getting my tooth extraction. The doc answered everyone of my questions, and the extraction took total, less than 3 minutes. I normally go under for this type of procedure, and now looking back at it, I am very grateful for Dr. Smith and his staff comforting and guiding me through the anxiety I had.
Best dentist I've ever had...

Matthew Smith is hand down one of the best dentist I have ever been to. Even his staff is amazing.
I really dig his nonjudgmental attitude. I don't have the best teeth, the dentist I have been to in the past have always been rude to me because of it.
Matthew and his staff never once talked down to me or were rude to me because of my teeth.
While working on your teeth, he will check up on, making sure that you aren't in pain.


I actually don't dread going to the dentist, which I dunno if most people can say that.

Hands down the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. Allow me to elaborate...

First, scheduling my appointment. The lady who scheduled my appointment was super nice and did everything she could in order to schedule me around my work schedule.

Second, the actual visit. Again, everyone was super nice and the wait time was minimal. I wasn't having any troubles with my teeth and just needed a good cleaning. The hygienist did such a good job that my mouth felt violated when she was finished; she now has a close, personal relationship with all of my teeth. But your mouth feeling violated means they did a good job! (I don't mean my mouth hurt, I just mean she did a very thorough job.)

Third, the actual dentist. Super nice guy, checked me over thoroughly and went over further treatment (having my wisdom teeth removed and to keep using fluoride so I remain cavity-free.) I can't say enough good things about this practice. They even assured me that a prior diagnosis of a pretty nasty oral condition was absolutely incorrect and my gums are perfectly fine (yay!)

My boyfriend also went to Dr. Smith and had the same experience, with both a cleaning and extraction.

As a brief aside, there was a woman in the office at the time of my cleaning who obviously had quite a few teeth extracted. Everyone in the office, including Dr. Smith, kept checking on her to make sure she was comfortable. This cemented the fact that this will be my dentist for a long, long time.

Go to Dr. Smith, everyone in the office is awesome.

First time visit for some emergency dental work. Most comfortable I've ever felt in a dentist chair in 37 years.

This dentist and his staff members have a two word description TOTALLY AWESOME. They are absolutely wonderful and they certainly make sure you have a reason to SMILE again!

Excellent staff. Everyone is so nice. I have a lot of work that has to be done to my teeth. Doctor Smith makes me feel comfortable and not at all nervous. The hygienist is my favorite. She cracks me up. Everyone here makes me feel so welcome. I'm here every week, everyone knows me by name. I would highly recommend coming here for dental work.
