Michelle B.Tobyhanna, PA01Feb 18, 2019First to ReviewSo disappointed by our banks switch to Penfed Credit Union. Pending transactions ran twice by the credit union , six times now. Penfed always blaming the other institution. Holds in pending affecting available funds. Ending in being declined in a restaurant. Speaking with customer service (they are very nice) having them explain they have two screens to look at . Telling me they do not see what I'm referring to. Can not wait to switch banks. Beware ! Do not open an account with this credit union. Hated even giving it one star.

Started with Tobyhanna FCU never had a problem. Changed to Valor still pretty good. Changed to Penn Fed will be closing all accounts this coming Saturday. I am on debit card #6 they mysteriously close themselves every 6 months. Ordered checks only by husbands name came on them was told that only the primary person shows (how does this make sense). Never wrote one at a place that would require ID since my name was never on them.
