Budd Lake Bagel & Deli

Back in the day this used to be a great bagel place. I'm guessing new owners - I don't know but we sat down to enjoy our bagels one recent Saturday & the place was empty, took a while to get someone to acknowledge us & to be truthful, bagels were just average & uninspiring. The owner was yelling at his staff in the place & we could hear the whole uncomfortable conversation. Not going back for sure.

Best bagels in the area, hands down!! We grew up in Clifton and were spoiled by amazing bagels. Moved more northwest and mourn good bagels. These bagels are the best. So delicious. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. They gave our baby and toddler small ones as a treat which made our journey back home much more enjoyable.

very nice staff ! i called for pick up and my food was ready in 10 minutes. the pork roll was a little greasy but made for a good breakfast sandwich.

i was disappointed by the butter on my rye bagel - it wasn't the standard salted butter other places use. bagel itself was good!

Bad bagel rude people. Very hard bagels. Hard to read menus. Long wait. Wouldn't recommend

I must go to the physical shop, my co worker brought us breakfast from here as the location is close to her house. Fantastic everything bagel, fresh and soft on the inside crisp on the outside (what makes a bagel in Jersey better than anywhere else). If I'm in the area I will be stopping here!

I stopped here with my wife yesterday (Sunday 8/28/22) At first I was excited as the place smelled good and the bagels looked good. Ordered a sandwich and a wrap, while waiting for my order I witnessed a roach running up the plexiglass display, older gentleman very calmly grabs it with his hand and throws it behind him!!!! ONLY TO THROW IT ON THE CUTTING BOARD. The roach quickly ran into the containers with the cheese and all the fixings. He then tried to tell me it wasn't a roach, not one memeber of the staff wasn't even surpised. Disgusting, maybe it's time to start cleaning your establishment.

Budd Lake has the best bagels that I have ever had.
It is a small place that does not have the fancy flavors of bagel. What they do have is a great recipe for bagels and always putting out fresh great product

The breakfast sandwiches are made fresh

They are busy but the line goes quickly.
It's not fancy but it's ohhhh so good.

I do not think you will be disappointed.

If you want a cold untoasted bagel with way too much fake butter on it, this is it! Only person in the store, 4 employees but some how they are in such a rush. I don't get it, there is another bagel store right next door. Probably easier for them to put keep out on the door.

Pretty good bagels but unfortunately they do not comply with wearing masks. Went in today and the woman had the mask under her nose. When brought up to the manager he asked if this was a problem. Yes, it is a problem and a concern for everyone's safety. Especially where food is being prepared in a fast pace environment. Good bagels, but we are all in the fight against covid together.
