Dear Business Owner
I went to your location on 1400 14th st nw
One of your two employees it's very RUDE, he gave me really bad attitude fro
The first time I asked for the price on the taquitos which was supposed to be 3x3 he charged me more than what it was
With an small soda the grand total was $6. Something, I knew he didn't charged me right so I asked for another three pieces
When he rang me up he charged me $4.77 I asked why he was charging me that much when was supposed to be $3.30? He replied back NO MORE when there was tons of laying on the grill And looked at me like telling me get the hell out
If you care about your business should be checking your staff, the succeed in business is basically all about GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE
The person is the short one who was working on Wednesday Night around 11:30
As I never coming back to your location imagine how many more customers you have lost just because one employee with bad temperHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mark M.Ada Township, MI47Feb 12, 2020
Avoid at all costs unless you want to be harassed by panhandlers as you exit the store. Owners obviously don't care - they are always there.

Good morning, hope all is well. My name is Derrick I am writing this review because a few mornings ago on August 2, 2021 around 6:30am I was treated so disrespectfully by one of your employees boot sure if he was a /manager or employee but I just have to let you guys know that it's not okay for me to deal with such disrespect. I went to the 7 eleven located at 1400 Rhode Island Ave NW Washington DC 20005 this exact location. I've never been s. o offended, stereotyped and disrespected in all my life. Instead of the cashier listening to what I was saying he continued to juggle between the two registers. I was trying to tell him how I wanted to pay..
With that being said my total was $3.29 I attempted 3 times to hand him $1.29 and I tried 3 times to let him know I'd pay the rest with my card he cut me off all 3 times after the third time he finished by saying don't count him out $1 at a time and said it extremely loud and rude. I matched his tone and let him know what I was actually trying to do. He then ok and told me to swipe my card when the total saying $2.19. I told him it was suppose to be just $2. He told me that's how much it is and he could show me on a piece of paper as if I was dumb or didn't understand. He even then wrote it down as if I wasn't comprehending his logic. So when it didn't make since he got more agitated. I then explained what he did which was ring the coffee over without the hot dog. I told him he was trying to cheat me out of my money. He then said that it was only $3 and I only came in there one time. I then explained that customer service matters and this is my third time in there and that my 3 times a week could easily be a 5-7 times a week which matters because being in and dealing with customers on a daily bases that his attitude was out of line and totally uncalled for. I was told to get out and not to return. I am looking for a Job so if you guys want someone to properly provide genuine authentic customer service or someone to train your current employees I'd gladly show them how it's suppose to be done. I stopped going to that store before because of a disrespectful cashier. I hope something will be done about this situation because I will not allow myself or others to be disrespected or treated poorly in a establishment we frequent. I would definitely like to hear from someone because this is appalling.
Sincerely, Not A Happy CustomerHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Supawat J.Miami, FL283442757Aug 14, 2017
The worst 7-Eleven I have ever been to.I waa there tonight 08/14/17 around 8pm.The young Indian guy at the counter have been talking or video call with his girlfriend so loud..in indian.I bought 3 items.he didn't give any bag until I asked for a bag.he handed the bag to me to put all 3 items by myself.
Also there is a hobo in front of the door opened the door for you and asked for money when the customers left the store.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Robin P.Washington, DC2210Jan 22, 2020

Yes I'm reviewing a 7-Eleven. It's for a reason though.
It's scary. And terrible. And smells bad. I would recommend walking miles out of your way (if you really really feel the need to go to 7-Eleven for some god forsaken reason) to go to another branch. Only go to this one if you want to be disappointed that they somehow have Cream of Mushroom soup in stock but not classic Tomato, and want to be screamed at by random neighborhood crazies.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Zhou L.Columbus, OH83Aug 18, 2017
I can give a zero if I could. We are visiting from a different state but were pissed off by the racist words from the cashier. You should really be careful who you hire. We will never visit here again.

I hate that I'm a fan.
My office is across the street. I find myself staring outside the window, gazing dreamily at the 7-11. If I don't feel like battling the lunchtime lines at Whole Foods, I opt for a Bean and Cheese Taquito at 7-11 for a buck and some change. My lowest 7-11 point? Eating a large bag of Cheetos because I was too lazy to go home and make lunch. Oh yeah, and the tuna sandwich that stunk up the office. Sorry guys.
7-11 is one of my vices. Since I eat healthy for the most part, I like indulge in some junk food from time to time to reward myself. Good thing they don't have Reeses Sticks, I'd paying 7-11 a daily visit if that was the case.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Colleen J.Austin, TX337448483Nov 22, 2010
WHAT THE SHIT IS GOING ON HERE?
As my friend and I were checking out, there was a dude on his cell phone having this whispered yet loud conversation while circling the aisles of 7-Eleven...
"...yeah...yeah get it..get that newspaper."
::pause::
"...aww yeah, take that newspaper and you roll it up...roll it up tight."
::pause::
"aiight, you got that rolled up newspaper?.....good..."
At this point we had to leave because I was admittedly both intrigued and a little weirded out. I don't know WHAT they were doing with newspaper but I now have a void in my soul because I will NEVER know.
This 7-Eleven is dirty, obviously has a sketchy crowd and is really just your typical city 7-Eleven. I gave it 2 stars for the sheer entertainment factor of the phone conversation that has been forever ingrained into my memory.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Robb T.Yarmouth Port, MA1035923Jun 13, 2009
Southland Corp. ought to close this place down as it offends the name 7-Eleven.
The ever-present panhandlers solicit everyone coming through the door. The items on the shelves and in the coolers are not priced. The staff is slow and don't care. The only thing convenient about this convenience store is the location.
This isn't part of the solution for this area, it's part of the problem. It's taking up a space where a decent market might exist.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
