First time here, maybe it was an off night. Service was really bad - staff said they were really busy as an excuse. We waited 15 minutes after we were seated to have someone get our drink order.
Restaurant was very cold we asked to see if they would do something, so they moved us to another, equally cold table.
Food service was slow, but the quality was good once it got there.
Not a great first time, we'll give them another try.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - James R.New York, NY241012Jan 1, 2016
My family and I went here one night during our New Years trip to Durango. I was so disappointed by our experience.
When we first walked in, I was excited by the modern typeface logo, urban decor and relaxed atmosphere. We sat down, and upon looking at the menu, decided that sharing appetizers was the way to go. We ordered the truffle fries, BBQ wings, chicken sliders and calamari. My parents ordered 2 glasses of wine, and I ordered the "Jack Dempsey"--a gin, white rum and simple sugar mix. The drinks were good, and the food sounded great. Unfortunately this is where the fun ended. It took over 25 minutes before our waitress came to check on our drinks and inform us that the food would, "just be a little longer." The food wait was outrageous. Then when it finally did come, the BBQ wings we'd ordered were actually spicy wings--a different menu option from the BBQ. The waitress took them back, and 7 minutes later the correct wings were delivered. The second round of drinks took longer than expected, and was inaccurate, as they only brought one glass of wine instead of the requested two.
The only redeeming quality I can give this place is the atmosphere. The food is okay, but nothing special, and the service was horrible. I don't recommend, and we will not be back. So much potential, such a disappointment.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Turtle T.Durango, CO073Jul 16, 2014Updated review
Great place ! Try the stuffed peppers and the Ahi appetizers. The Apps are our dinner usually.
Really liked the live local music for Happy Hour.

This is a hidden gem that should be explored. The place itself is comfortable and has great ambience. The live music they have is usually great and the food is delicious! The cocktails and wine list are great, too. Servers and bar staff are super friendly and add to the overall experience. Try their weekend brunch. The hippy Benedict is to die for!! Prices are great.

Amazing!!!! We came during a really slow time, the staff was still on top of it. Our waitress Jessi was fabulous. The food was so good. We came with our 6 year old and they treated him so sweet. Did I mention the food was wonderful. It's now our favorite place to go!!!!! Love it

Although the hype says Durango, CO has great food culture but you will see the reality when you step in to it.
Took my crew for drinks on a Friday late afternoon in January 2015. Not enough servers to serve the crowd. Guests were really confused as to where to seat. After 20 minutes a server came to get the drinks order for 8 people in our party. Half of the drinks arrived another 20 minutes later. Everyone had "this is enough" written on their faces. When we stood up to leave, the server came apologizing saying she is new and wasn't trained enough. At least the next door East by Southwest understood the inconvenience and quickly accommodated our party with a nice table with 2 servers.
This is the worst bar/happy hour experience ever!!
Visitors please avoid this place and go to other places instead.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jennifer L.Durango, CO1194Feb 21, 2016
Out of business- it's a shame too. The place was full of potential. Hopefully someone will re-open it.

Bad menu. No proper service friendly but very unprofessional. Very disappointing menu with 3 Asian shrimps as a main course. We will never visit this place again

Had two terrific meals here. Chef Phillip is innovative and personable. Very much enjoyed the lamb special. Bartenders mixed a great Manhattan.
