Amazing, already planning on going back, and if I lived in the area I'd probably be getting dinner here on the reg. As is, I think it's going to be a solid stop in our lunch rotation with my coworkers. I've driven past it every day for the last year (not even sure if it's been there that long) and never noticed it tucked away in the corner. What an awesome surprise it was though.
Very nicely decorated and designed interior, excellent wait service, and top notch food. I saw a lot of things on the menu that I'd like to try in the future, but today I had the grilled chicken sandwich with the pesto cream sauce on the side and subbed a side of seasonal veggies instead of fries. The sandwich was really good, felt relatively healthy for restaurant food, and the squash was literally cooked perfectly. My coworkers had the Reuben (which he raved about), and the capricola sandwich (another rave review), with fries which were perfectly crisp and shoestring-y. I saw a couple other tables get salads, which looked massive and also really good. So many options on the menu. We were all very impressed with our visit. Our waitress was fantastic, kept on top of our drinks throughout the meal, and was super prompt with everything, understanding that we were on our lunch break.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brittany G.Toledo, OH249200252Jun 10, 2017
5th Street is one of those places where you get frustrated because the WHOLE menu looks amazing, but you simply can't eat all the food they offer in one sitting.
No exaggeration, this is one of my favorite local restaurants, and some of the best pizza I've ever had.
The appetizers, fresh soups and craft beers are also 100% delicious.
Plan on a pizza feeding maybe 2 people because the slices are huge and you'll want to eat the whole thing. Highly recommend the Margherita Pizza, Mushroom pizza, fried mozzarella, and caprese lollipops.
Hell, I recommend literally all of it.
Great job, Chef Bruce!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Amy B.Nashville, TN121235Jul 14, 2019Updated review

Our food was good and our server was fine, aside from a few minor mishaps that aren't too out of the ordinary for a meal out; however, when we asked for our bills there was some confusion. Someone at our table ordered Blue Moon, which according to the vague drink menu was $4. The bill said it was $6 each. Confused, we spoke to the manager and he stated that $4 was the 12oz bottle price and $6 was the 12oz draft size. (Why a bottle and draft price differs $2 makes no sense to me anyway...?) We asked where the $6 draft prices were on the menu and he pointed to a chalk board that specified the type of beers on draft with no prices listed.
To stubbornly refuse to change a bill by $2 a beer due to your poor pricing communication is just bad customer service. Please consider changing your menus so that future customers don't run into this issue. From reading some Yelp reviews, this wasn't the first time this happened either.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Douglas D.Toledo, OH22159424Feb 7, 2016
We have been to the Perrysburg location. And we were anxious for Sylvania to open.
They make Neapolitan style pizza. Which you don't really find in Toledo. So it is kind of unique. We had BYO with mozzarella, ham, and sausage. It was very tasty. As a appetizer we had meatballs on a plate in pesto sauce. Excellent.
We went early on a Saturday night. And the restaurant was packed. Excited to see a new pizza option in Sylvania. Nice atmosphere. They will do well.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jen M.Holland, OH15141Dec 27, 2017
Thank you 5th St . for a great dinner for 4 tonight ...... A plate of meat balls to start , there were only 3 ( could have been more )
The breakfast pizza was good , we passed on the maple syrup option .
The Pesto pizza , though wonderful.... I would order with about half the pesto next time and maybe a little white sauce to dunk in .......
The burger always a table favorite with homemade chips of course !Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jen S.Independence charter Township, MI976Jul 13, 2019
Wow! Food surprising good but please, WHAT EVER YOU DO, do not make reservations for a party, give each ticket an individualized # and expect your bill within an hour after being completely done with your meal and table even cleared.... THEY CANT FIGURE IT OUT. What's even worse, 2 waitresses trying to figure our what the heck they did and the manager coming over... AFTER ALMOST AN HOUR OF WAITING TO PAY... sorry, our POS is messed up.
I just cant even.... fail FAIL FAIL Don'tdo it, don't try and find a place that understands their POS and can get a group in and out quickly.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Cam S.Toledo, OH1346Mar 25, 2017
Good food. Place was super busy but we got our seats quickly. Servers worked well even while they had a ton to do. The pizza came out after about twenty minutes, and our drinks came whenever empty. Only negative is the house salad which was pretty shabby. Will definitely come here for dinner again.

Okay this place is great. We had the appetizer meatballs. Spicy pork with garlic cream sauce and they were GREAT!! You get 3 but it is an appetizer. We ordered La Scarfo pizza for our meal it was very good and came quickly but, next time I will order a pizza with pork on it for the saltiness. Oh, how can I forget the sangria!!!! We had the red sangria and it is THE BEST restaurant sangria I've ever had!!! Can't tell you about the crowd because we came early evening. If you are thinking about coming here... DO IT!
