If this store and pharmacy are closing, it's a shame and sad. I've used this Riteaid for 6 years, such nice people.

The app is very convenient but it's overall user-friendly ways are nonexistent. Extremely frustrating to navigate and started over 3 times

This Rite Aid is closest to the beach near 17th street and just off Virginia Beach Blvd.
They have a restroom inside in the very back that is always really dirty and nasty and looks like it's in need of update.
The inside is fairly large and has all the essentials you expect to find at a Rite Aid and there is ample parking in an attached lot for customers and a ton of nearby street and metered parking.
Still, there is something about this location that is off. I've been in here a number of times over the years while at the beach. It feels dirty and dated. It doesn't carry as nice of stocked items and as much selection.

Nice young man checked us out. Place was clean and open. No complaints here. We got what we needed in and out fast.

I'm very disappointed with them.. I had just recently got out of the hospital & this was my 1st time going into a store.. When I went to checkout I asked Monica the cashier can I purchase a $4 pack of stamps because I'm only needing 1 to send a time sensitive letter that has to be postmarked that day..She said they only have $13 packs.. which is crazy cuz book of stamps only cost $11.. so I was basically forced to pay that.. so as I return home the stamps weren't in the bag.. I called the store & talked to a man & he said they will gladly give me the stamps back.. I told him I'm disabled & I will be sending a friend The next morning to pick them up.. my friend brought the receipt there and Monica said that she was lying and she put them In the bag and cameras don't lie. So my friend Called me right away & I called the manager .. so after giving her all the info on my receipt with time & transactions #s she then told me they will call me back later because the camera man has to check the info.. by this time I'm getting very upset because I have a time sensitive letter to be sent out & I had spent all my money. so, I waited all day & now it's the next day and they still haven't called me back.. I have been a valued customer for many years & this is my neighborhood drugstore..Now I have to find a different store to shop because of this.. I will not be returning to this location ever again.. They were very unprofessional.

This particular Rite Aid is not my favorite. I've found that my encounters with the pharmacists are not always the best. There is always a new pharmacist there when I go, which is fine but often they seem incompetent and unfriendly. There have been numerous occasions where I've called in my prescription, gone to the store and found they didn't fill it for some reason. It always makes me wonder why their automated system prompts you to include your phone number if the staff never use it!

Pharmacists are nice and refills are ready to be picked up when they promise. The other team members are nice as well and always greet you when coming into the store. The 20% savings is great and adds up over the year. My complaint is the trash can outside is always over flowing with trash and the parking lot has trash all over it as well. I understand the close proximity to ocean and walking traffic..... But take some time to clean it up. I suggest a larger can outside or maybe multiple cans.
