Terrible service department. They just replace parts and run up the bill until they figure out the issue, IF they ever figure it out.

Went to Larry Puckett to get a tire repair, the sign said closes at 6 pm, evidently that's incorrect, they decided to close at 5:45, and not help me,in my time of need. At one time I use to think highly of Larry Puckett services, new car oil changes, but not any more.they had the people, they advertise as closing at 6 all a lie, only thing they cared about is leaving, well Larry Puckett,I know this won't matter to you or your company, but I will not be back, I will encourage everyone to go anywhere but you

I woke up to oil in my driveway the dealership told me to bring my truck in and they put me in a rental for free. (I paid for a warranty but they told me I was still under bumper to bumper). The next day I was told my oil filter was loose & now I'm being charged for the rental, oil change & diagnostic fee. Keep in mind I only let the dealership touch my truck (I don't want to void my warranty any kind of way)I don't think I should've pay for anything but the oil change. Take your business else where.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. This review is specifically for the service department. I took in my 2019 Suburban Premier for a squeak that was coming from the rear end. It was progressively getting louder. Vehicle was taken in on warranty and the next day they called and said that the problem was a toy rattling around the back. I was skeptical, as I had heard the noise from outside the vehicle. I decided to give them a chance, and picked up the vehicle. The very first speed bump I heard the noise still. I got the Suburban back home and confirmed that the noise was coming from the drivers side rear axle.
I called the dealership again and scheduled another appointment. This time, they took the time and investigated and found that there was a known Chevrolet issue where the brake line rubs the parking brake line. They had to move the lines a bit, and get them separated to stop the rubbing noise. This time the noise was gone and the issue was fixed. I filled out a negative review on this because I deem anything with parking brakes or brakes rubbing to be a safety issue. They disagreed. I will not back down on that. Brake lines rubbing is not good regardless of the problem, and the fact that this was apparently a known issue on some Silverados and Suburbans should have led them to investigate this issue the first time.
Unfortunately, I drove the vehicle straight home and noticed multiple light scratches on the bumper on the entire passengers side, as well as a light scuff. The vehicle was not even a year old and it was clean and perfect before I took it in. I called, and they said to bring it back in and they would look at it. I could tell that someone had used some kind of white spray wax on the bumper to try to buff it out.
At this point, I felt decent about the situation. They attempted another buff and wax, but it was still not correct. I voiced my concerns a second time, and they said they would make it right. They wanted me to wait for a phone call to schedule an appointment with the paint guy. I agreed.
After a couple of weeks, they told me to bring it in and they were going to fix it. So I dropped it off early in the morning. By afternoon, I was told it was ready and come pick it up. I went in to the body shop side because I thought they were going to repaint the bumper. I walked in to the body shop and they told me they did not have my vehicle. I explained the situation, and the body shop told me that the "guy who works on paint in the parking lot" must have it. Apparently he is a known guy who does paint work but is not a part of Chevy. So I went over to the service shop and was told that the manager was going to go out with me to the vehicle. It was not repainted, but heavily waxed and buffed. It was not fixed. They told me that was the best they could do and it was hardly visible. At this point, they already admitted to scratching it by attempting to fix it twice. I said I was not satisfied, and the manager attempted to fear monger me with a carfax report and said if they removed the bumper to paint it that it would show up on a carfax as damaged. Quite frankly, it would not, and I have seen vehicles damaged far worse in actual accidents show up with minor damage on a carfax. This was a clear attempt to dissuade me. I explained that if this was my old truck with over 100k on it, not a big deal. But, we are talking about an RST Premier Suburban with a sticker price of 78k. I made it clear that I was not satisfied. The manager said, well thats the best we can do. I stated that his point was noted, and I will consider that for all my future business with this place. I will not be back for any reason!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - De M.Bossier City, LA729854Aug 24, 2017Updated review
So disappointed with the service here.
We have a brand new 2017 truck and have another oil change under warranty. 45 minutes turned into 2 hours before it was done. Then we're supposed to have the DEF refilled as part of the service. There's no amount listed. But they say they'll only cover 2 gallons? Bullshit. Yes it's cheap but that's not the point. It's not written anywhere.
Will NEVER go back here. Manager tried to argue with me and wouldn't budge.
Waste of my time today. Don't bother. Go somewhere else.
Update 8/23/17
So they didn't even top off any fluids. What kind of oil change and rotation is this?! Ridiculous. If you don't care who you take your car to take it here. But if you care at all, it's not worth giving these crooks any money everHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 7, 2017Previous reviewSo disappointed with the service here.

The man we worked with was rude and dismissive. My daughter who is 18 years old brought her car in when her check engine light came on. She was then told to make an appointment for the following week. She did. She came to her appointment at 9:30 a.m. at which point she was told there were 17 cars ahead of her and she might not even get her car seen about until the following day. At this point she was driven home by someone and left all day with no car and missed work. When I called to find out about the progress of her truck service, the man named Justin told me that she had not gotten him the information he needed about her warranty and blamed her for not getting him what he needed to work on the truck. I called her and she had already had the warranty information faxed over there. So that was his first falsehood. Then I called and he told me what he told her about not getting to her car until the following day. He said he'd call me back at least 4 times in the more than 24 hours that he held her truck and failed to do so. Only when it was time to give me a price did he call. And he had called her earlier in the day with a totally different price, a much higher one. When I confronted him when picking up the vehicle, he told me to get off his lot and that he would call every shop in town and tell them not to work on her car unless I was present to sign for it. He changed his story about informing her that she could take her car with her and admitted to the lie. Then kicked me off the lot. He was full of excuses and had been very condescending to my daughter as well. But when his attitude came back to him, he was unable to maintain any professionalism at all. I have been a loyal customer getting my oil changed there for over 3 years. My business is going elsewhere.

This is a great dealership. Recently went in and got a free brake diagnostic. They gave me a report and full inspection on the brakes. Service department and Oil Express service are fantastic. You will find honest mechanics not interested in up selling you on things your vehicle does not need. Very impressed.

This was our third trip to your lot and we were looking for a truck. My husband was driving our Ford Explorer Sport Trac but wanted something bigger with more towing capacity. We found our favorite salesman, CT, and he showed us the 2009 GMC Sierra and fell in love. We had not planned on buying when we walked onto the lot, we were simply looking to see what kind of prices where out there. But for the price of the truck and how well the truck had been maintained we couldn't pass it up. CT did everything he could to get it into the payment range we needed and made us very proud customers, for the 3rd time in just a little over a years time. Our daughter will be turning 16 shortly, so I know we will be in the market for yet another vehicle soon.
