Review from Jim O.
This place continues never to disappoint.
The bartenders are generally attentive; and there is always a good mix of a crowd keeping the place busy.
And the dance floor/hip-hop scene downstairs (the "booty room") is a nice change of pace from the rock-n-roll scene on the second side or the hangout bar side upstairs.
I'm still a fan!1 Previous Review: Show all »

I took my wife to eat and listen to some good live music. Although the food was average, the atmosphere and music were outstanding!
Go with some friends to for some good fun. -

Midtown, Atlanta, GA
This place is only getting 2 stars because I did have a good time with my friends here. I live in Atlanta so had never been before and will not again. If you live in the area I'm sure the night life selection is low, I guess that's how they get away with charging a 10 buck cover! If you choose to go please take cash and do not open a tab, I was drinking miller light all night, I payed for the first two with cash and then opened a tab with the downstairs bartender. She was either very devious or delirious because my tab was $180 bucks... I know Miller Light does not get that expensive. She charged 15 Vegas Bombs (whatever that is??) on my tab. And swore that I ordered them. After a couple of hours dealing with the manager they removed the shots. The manager was a nice guy and seamed like he wanted to help, but I still got stuck with 8 beers and it should have only been 4.
I hope whoever the bartender's friends that I'm assuming she was giving those shots to all night on my tab ran their car off the road on their way home.
I at first thought it was an innocent mistake but after seeing that someone else has had a very similar experience, I'm pretty sure it was intentional. -

I love the atmosphere. It's nice hearing rock music instead of the typical top 40 hits at most bars. Definately my kinda place! The only complaint I have is the service. The bartenders and servers are so rude.

I don't live in Buford but I went here once for a Bud Light Port Paradise event and had mixed feelings.
Rock theme of the place is really cool. You don't see many places like this out in areas like Buford and it's nice to see someone execute that kind of brand out there and make it work.
Pretty extensive food menu with lots of cool options. I had the BBQ nachos. The menu said they had pulled pork on them, but I definitely had chicken on mine. I wouldn't recommend them.
One of the bartenders at the main bar has some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. She's extremely attractive and it's clearly gone to her head. Very rude and condescending attitude. On top of that, she was popping customers with a towel, almost in the face. Not really sure how anyone can consider this an okay thing to do.
The other bartender was AWESOME. They ran out of their big mugs and she saved one for me when they got clean ones and signaled me so that I could order one before someone else snagged it. Great service all night
long. I don't remember her name but she was the only black girl working behind the main bar. I definitely recommend going to her if you can.
Warning to smokers: This bar is not your friend. No smoking indoors and no enclosed area where you can smoke and drink at the same time. You have to put your drink down and go out to the street in front of the bar to have a smoke. -

Douglasville, GA
This place would get 5 stars but their drinks are WAY expensive. $9 for a shot of Patron - and it's a single shot!
Anyways, cool vibe, good entertainment and lots of places to sit and enjoy the show.
Be careful of cops though - they camp out outside of this place! -

Atlanta, GA
If I could, I would give this place negative stars. The place was such a let down. It's a good looking venue. Even met an old high school friend of mine there. Then they gave us the tabs. Mine was accurate. My buddies not so much. Put 7 shots @ $7.50 a pop on his tab that he didn't order. I ended up paying for it while he was getting kicked out by the asshole cop bc he was trying to debate the tab. I didn't get my cash back. Ended up losing about $200 that night bc of they're foolproof bs.
Never go here. Unless that is you feel like getting your wallet raped.
Cheers! -

I love this place! The rock bands are usually very good, there is a mixed crowd, and the bar service is very fast! There is a bar and music downstairs (no DJ) if you want to dance to the latest hits (the crowd here is younger). You have to go outside to smoke which I like.
The cover is usually $5. -

The atmosphere is "home". Eastside Athens bars...man, I miss it. The beer selection leaves much to be desired.
The cover band was pretty freakin awesome though. My former roommate and I do some amateur dancing, he is actually more professional than me, so we were able to kick it with them. They played hit songs and didn't sound half bad.
People watching is prime.
I will definitely go back. -

This seems like a fun place to go if you are in the Buford area.
The service is not that great, but hey, it's a rock&roll bar. Also, the layout is really strange and there does not seem to be a "comfortable" area to just hang out with friends. There is also a bar downstairs with a deejay booth and stripper pole. I'm sure it gets rowdy down there, but I am not a regular, so I would not know. I've only been once. -

Buford, GA
I have been here a handful of times. The band is usually pretty entertaining and the drinks are strong. There is no smoking inside which is nice - I hate smelling like an ashtray when I get home from a night out. There are plenty of Ed Hardy wearing men which always calls for good people watching (it looks awful on you btw). If you are single and ready to mingle - this place is for you. The cocktail servers wear short shorts even in the winter. I've never seen a male bartender. There is usually a cover in the warmer months. So call ahead if you want to avoid paying $15-$20 at the door.

I would go back again. Loud music, crowds. Our bartender was super busy and super friendly. A very clean place which is super important to me. Kinda quiet area on Saturday night but this place is buzzing. If you arrive after 10pm you may not find a seat. Their was a band which we were not near but we still enjoyed the music behind our conversation. It is loud so talk directly into your partners ear.
Did not have any food. I had some beer that he said was named 37? He couldn't really explain it but it was like water. I wouldn't get it again, ever. The only complaint is that their was no drink menu, which is on the web-site.
Only 1 dessert on the food menu. -

Flowery Branch, GA
I was taken here as a date for St. Patty's Day 2010 & after consuming numerous Irish car bombs & other St. Patty's Day festive drinks, I found myself outside chatting with the locals who then in-turn wanted to buy me even more festive drinks at the bar. This place was hoppin! Great atmosphere, great bands, great drinks & a great bar staff. Oh.... I almost forgot to mention that THE Ron White decided to spend his St. Patty's day here as well. Wish I could have gotten a clearer picture, but didn't want to interrupt his celebrations. I was having to much fun with my own. : - )

A great rock bar in Buford, GA? Yes, this place is awesome! I have seen great local cover bands like IronMullet, live rock band karaoke, and national bands LAGuns, FasterPussycat, LynchMob and Saliva play at this club. The drinks are great, good selection of draught beer including Sweetwater and Terrapin, very good food for a bar, and a very friendly staff. A perfect place to spend the night listening to live music!

Went there to see Bon Jovi Cover Band "Slippery When Wet".. Place was packed mostly people in their late twenties, but a few "Rockers" in their 40's were jammin to the Music and going Crazy over "Jon BonJovi" lol... We didn't order any food, but the Food at the other Table looked yummie!! Staff was Friendly and My Margaritas were perfect... I'll go back when in the area again.

Took a ride over to old Buford to check out this speakeasy, as you walk in the colors from the jazz themed murals on all the walls was the 1st thing that caught my eye. Tapas menu, we'd recommend the fried green tomatoes, & olive hummus. There is a quesadilla with apricots preserves, walnuts, and brie; it was as advertised but we found it too sweet. The martini style drinks were really good. Bands play on Fri/Sat night, its definitely a fun night out.

Heard 37 Main was under new management and that it was becoming increasingly popular so decided to check it out! I went on a Friday evening around 8:00 and stayed until about midnight. Had a blast! The place was packed most of the night. The new menu is not Tapas anymore and there is a good variety. We ordered an Appetizer Trio Combo and a couple of different kind of Wings. Both were very good. Bands play on Fri/Sat night. Good music, dancing if you wish... a lot of fun. Will definitely go back.

This place is real hidden treasure. Located in downtown buford, they are pulling some fantastic bands. The bar itself is setup great, large and decorated well, its always packed on the weekends. Enjoy!
