Had an unfortunate dining experience here on Valentine's Day last night. The service was fine, and wine wonderful, but the food was quite disappointing. For the holiday they had a prix fixe menu, and I chose the lobster bisque for an appetizer. It was tasty, but nothing very special about it.
My main course was sea bass, and it was awful. It had some sort of chemical taste, which to me was like the flavor of extra-bad tap water. It was also quite dry, which the nice aioli helped with some, but the flavor was unbearable. The accompanying brussels sprouts and rice were both just okay.
For dessert, I chose the pear cake, which was also on the dry side, and didn't have enough caramel sauce with it to mitigate that problem.
I think I must have just had bad luck in picking what I did on the prix fixe menu, which was $75 a head. The only money well spent last night in my opinion was for the great wine and the tip for our server, who was very nice.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 6, 2024
I don't just recommend, I highly recommend. We had a wonderful experience tonight for my birthday dinner. The food, the service, the ambiance were all stellar. We were greeted by the manager who had impeccable manners and fantastic cocktail knowledge. We started with a cocktail. My husband had a Weller old fashioned. I had an Americano. There are good cocktails and there are perfect cocktails. Ours were both perfect. We both opted for the prix fixe menu because it was so tempting. The appetizers were delicious. The Bœuf Bourgogne was excellent. And the apple crisp tasted like Christmas. The wine list is excellent, so many great options at very reasonable prices. I had the Haut Medoc (delicious) my hubs had the Alsatian Pinot (even more delicious). The menu is innovative. The presentation is beautiful. The wine list is fantastic. I was very impressed

Food wasn't bad but it was just average. We ordered salmon, Steak frites, Caesar Salad, and some French fried chicken.
Let me just start off with charging $36 for fried chicken is outrageous. It didn't taste any different from fast food fried chicken. The New York strip steak was burnt on the outside which made the inside harder to chew than usual. The Caesar salad we chose to add $10 worth of grilled shrimp which turned out to be only 3 small pieces. Definitely not worth $10.
Our waitress was nice to us though.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - LA B.Santa Fe, NM06Apr 16, 2024

Would not recommend- at least on a Friday night.
We had reservations and were celebrating a friend's birthday. Our server was nice but was really not attentive and we waited a very long time to get drinks or place any orders.
The worst part was a problem with one of the entrees and how the manager responded. Our guest ordered fried chicken and the chicken breast was bloody and bloodied the plate when cut into. This was brought to the attention of the server who at least notified management. The manager came over and told the guest, " it happens sometimes" dismissively and rubbed her back. She leaned away from him and asked him not to touch her. He didn't apologize or offer any solutions/ explanations. He walked off and never checked on the table again.
Having worked in the food service industry I understand that undercooked food can happen in a rush. I think the experience could have been recoverable if we were treated differently.
I was embarrassed to have brought our friend here for her birthday. If you are going to spend a decent amount on an evening out, I would recommend checking out the 4 Seasons or El Nido instead. Have always had wonderful food, service, and experiences.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 2, 2021
Stumbled on this place while walking around Santa Fe, and decided to come back for a drink in the evening. Glad we did!
Cute little bistro type place, has a full menu, great bar area, outdoor heated seating and nice cozy indoor seating.
We chose indoors as a little chilly outside!
The daily specials menu had am amazing sounding entree on it that we ended up getting just out of curiosity because of the mushrooms and corn flan . Plus scallops are our thing. It was so interesting flavor wise and looked amazing, truffle corn flan was so rich with pieces of corn, but a creamy sauce around it, the chanterelle mushrooms were so different from anything I've eaten before. But just melt in your mouth, but still meaty. The sauce was amazing , buttery, great to swipe the bread through, well worth the price and glad we checked in on Yelp as it gave us a free dessert!
We chose the apple cobbler, again wonderful rich buttery cobbler and lovely cinnamony apples, and delicious vanilla ice cream. Plus sliced strawberries. Great freebie!
So went for a drink and came out pretty full!
The Prosecco was delish too, 315 is a great spot for unusual dishes and a quite atmosphere. Great service too.
Enjoyed every minute!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Ana Maria R.Las Vegas, NV0634Jan 14, 2023
The wine selection was inspiring, and the mushroom ice cream was a treat.
But what is not impressive is the stingy pour for $21+ a glass. If they are stingy with the wine pour, what else are they stingy with? Definitely a reflection of the owner. I don't know how they keep their doors open, it is a hustle.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - David D.Allen, TX5224540Aug 4, 2021
Stopped here as El Farol still closed. No tables, only hi tops for walk ins. That's cool. Bottled water pushed, you want TAP water? Geez, GMAFB. Schnitzel out (at 6pm no less). Got Steak Frites and a fresh organic greens salad. $16 for a handful of greens, a couple of radish slices and 4 halves of everyday cherry tomatoes. I don't mind paying for quality but this wasn't a premium salad. Steak arrived, I'd asked for Au Poivre. Nope, just grilled with an off tasting butter sauce on the side. Cooked fine, middle was somewhat tender (not near steakhouse quality tho) and tasty. About 3" from the "toe", meat got tough and had an off taste. Lots of nice crisp frites tho. Whoopee. Wife's Pate very good, very average other app.
We know quality French cuisine. This was a notch or two from being that. Nice atmosphere and good service.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - A.J. P.Klein, TX039Sep 3, 2023
Friends took us here while we visited Santa Fe. I had the misfortune of ordering the shrimp cocktail and the black mussels. The shrimp smelled old when they brought it to the table. There were 12 mussels served. 3 were not opened. Dish was supposed to be served with French fries. There were two potato wedges. No fries. My friends ordered the fried chicken. Waiter said it came with 5 pieces, including a breast. My friends got three small pieces of dark meat. The waiter avoided us the last 30 minutes of our meal. Very unprofessional. At least the wine recommended was good. Overall, a very rotten experience considering there are so many better places in Santa Fe.

Good food, drinks, vibes. The servers were gracious and fun. The separate spaces in the old building give character. I'd recommend..
