The vibe is great.
Unfortunately I was very unhappy with my cut. I asked for long layers and the person gave me layers up to my ears. I asked the person multiple times if they wanted to look at my reference picture to which they stated no they got it. They wanted to frame my face with curtain bangs and I didn't even get that. One side is actually longer than the other I asked for over my shoulders and I got just above my collar bones. Mind you my hair was halfway done my back already, so that's more than the x amount of inches they told me. It's just so sad because I told the person that I was hesitant on layers because I've had bad experiences on them with other people & this just proved my case. Had a younger and less experienced hair stylist but she was very enthusiastic to learn and to provide customer satisfaction. The more experienced stylists were happy to give any guidance needed and she did an excellent job on a pixie. Super pleased with the cut!

My first time at Hair Cuttery in about 20 years. Bre did a great job going above and beyond just a normal haircut. After the shampoo, she noticed that there were some parts that need to be re-cut so she went back and did it and noted my file. She also made sure that my ears and eyebrows were clean. As an old man, my eyebrows go crazy, and my ears have hair growing everywhere. Thanks Bre!

Your company follows some inexcusable practices. For the second time in a row, a confirmed appointment has been canceled. This time, I had an event on 3/31 and made an appointment with Cherese at the Red Mill location in Virginia Beach. A week after I'd received the confirmation (and taken the day off from my job!), Cherese called and the appointment was canceled. This is the second time in a row my appointment was canceled. Why do you take appointments if you don't intend on keeping them? So now, I've canceled you.Â

I took my granddaughter to have her super long straggly hair trimmed. It looked bad
Bre trimmed her hair and actually was able to make it look like it had not been freshly cut. It looks like it grew that way. My granddaughter who was so scared about getting it cut loves her shorter still very long

I had a haircut here recently. My hair has never looked so bad in my entire life. I did not get anything I asked for, and even moreso, I had clippers used on me when I specifically asked for no clippers. I didn't have my glasses on, so I couldn't even see to say anything until she had already started. This was my favorite place to get my haircut, and now I will never be back.

My son and husband have been getting their haircuts by Ken for years. And he always does a great job. Today my daughter went to Tiffany for cut and color and she did an amazing job! She spent many hours making my daughter just perfect. We love the results! I attached before and after pictures.

I usually go to expensive upscale salons and spend hundreds of dollars, but decided to try this location because I needed a quick fix and new to the area. Naomi was very knowledgeable and worked wonders with my hair! She honestly has to be some sort of chem genius because my hair was a mess. I brought her over processed bleached hair with black box color over it and she was able to fix my overall base to a pretty chocolate brown with hazelnut highlights. She was also able to fix my haircut and give me the Eva Mendez inspired look I wanted. She saved me

New to the area and was in desperate need of a cut. Saw this place and walked right in. They got me in right way and went over what I wanted and Morgan asked a few questions to clarify that she knew exactly what I wanted. She did a great job on my hair! I do feel like my shampoo wasn't the best it could have been which is why I only have 4 stars, I just felt like it wasn't shampooed very thoroughly but that could have just been me. I'd definitely recommend going to Morgan though and I will for sure be back!

The last 4 times or so that I've had my cut/colored I've gone to this location. Mainly because they always do a fantastic job. Recently I went in on a Saturday afternoon for a trim along with my boyfriend. After checking us in, mind you the place was already full of clientele (but there are sill empty stations), several people walked-in behind us. In all, there are 9 people (including my boyfriend and I) waiting for haircuts. 10 minutes or so pass by and I notice that there are 6 employees just hanging out at the front desk. I ask how long the wait will be... I'm told the computers are down and that they cannot help anyone right away. Really? The stupidity of some folks still amazes me. We left, obviously. I won't be returning to this location anymore- completely turned off by the lack of ambition from its employees.
