Modern Barber Shop

Shopping for a new barbershop since my two boys are now young men and I'm looking for a good place for the 3 of us. Looked online, found Modern Barbershop, pictures have kids in them, appears to be nice friendly environment with game area for kids so I asked a couple questions. Now, I don't care if you take kids or not, no problem at all. I've run into some rude hostile people before but this guy wins all trophies. Very quick to abrasive "first come first serve and cash only", when I asked y_If they took kids, he pulled no punches in letting me know "hell no", "everything to keep them out". Literally confronted my "makes sense" response then hung up on me in his "busyness". Never even made it in- word cut my hair with a chainsaw before going to this guy.

My husband waited at this shop for 1 hour and when it was his turn the owner said "Usually when people don't come back for a while I tell them to fuck off". My husband thought he was joking and tried joking back by saying "I'm okay with that". The owner said "okay then fuck off", my husband stood there for a second dumbfounded. Then he said "I'm serious, leave".

This business should be shut down, go to Seidel's-- it is much better.

Matt's amazing one of the best barbers I've been to! He is a little crude but that is the environment he has setup. Definitely worth your time to check him out...

Don't understand how he owns a business. Horrible service. Demeans customers in front of those in the shop and is not open consistent hours. After going over a year due to the close location, couldn't handle the complete disregard for common respect and decency. Downright terrible customer service.

Simply called to ask if they take walk ins or appointments , told me walk ins, i asked if it was cash only and how much it was , he proceeded to tell me $120 for a haircut where I replied with "for a mens haircut?" - he then said "i am busy" and hung up the phone. HOW DO YOU RUN A BUSINESS? my mistake for bothering you. I am going to make it my mission to absolutely blast this business. DO NOT GO.

This barbershop is every man's dream. If you like crude humor and watching badass movies with loud surround sound while sipping on a beer, this is definitely the place for you. Not a great place for younger kids, but definitely a welcoming environment for those looking for a quick but excellent cut. Would highly recommend.

This place is great! Enjoy a drink while you wait. Then a perfect haircut. Matt is great!

I called to set up an appoint but the business owner was rude saying " I don't want to talk to you so don't you ever talk to me and I don't want you to call this number again." What did I ever do to him? I thought this business has a 5 Yelp Stars Reputation?

This place sucks so bad they chopped up my hair and I think the guy working was drunk already, they were extremely disorderly, the guy dropped a comb and continued to use it on my hair also he had many under-age kids inside drinking beer without having an I.d. I would not recommend getting a haircut here after my experience many wrong things going on here. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I'm surprised they aren't shut down yet. Need to be looked at closely by authorities.
