This review is long overdue and greatly earned by this wonderful company! Let me start by saying that I am an avid animal lover and my dogs are just as much family to us than humans. That being said, when one of our dogs is suffering, we do our best to do what it best for them. We all know that healthy pets start with nutrition. One of our 3 dogs was suffering from allergies. The first time we went into this store, we were overwhelmed and SO appreciative of the help we were given by an employee named Sohm. He took the time to listen to us about each of our pets and their specific issues. He recommended a certain type of dry food that would be helpful to all 3 of our dogs. He listed the ingredients and each of their benefits. Needless to say, my dogs allergies are completely gone and my dogs are thriving on their new food! Thank you to this amazing store and Sohm for all of his help! He was so educated and knowledgeable and we received more help from him about our dogs nutrition than any vet we've ever gone to! He spent a great deal of time with us and because of that, we are loyal customers. He remembers us each time we go in and is sure to say hi to our dogs by giving them treats!
I also believe their prices are more than fair due to all of their products being high quality. (You really do get what you pay for!) We firmly believe that investing in high quality food for our pets saves us money in the long run by keeping our pets healthier! And this store has a rewards program with dog food that gives you a free bag after 10 bags purchased!
This store also carries treats, toys, gifts, leashes, vitamins, etc. so there is no need for us to ever set foot in another commercialized pet store again! The Natural Dog has everything you need for your furry family members! And they are based out of Greensboro so your dollars spent will stay local.

Yes!!!! I was in the Whole Foods plaza and eyed the big open sign by this place. Layla gets a specific brand of dog food that we can only find up by the Reynolda area which can take us about 20 minutes to get to so to see this place right by our house I was hoping they carried Merrick. They sure do!! They had aisles and aisles of natural dog and cat food. They also had this neat wall of toys and pretty much every treat you could imagine.

I'm pretty sure this is a locally owned spot. Their original location is in Greensboro. The employees were helpful and around if we needed them. We also signed up for their loyalty program where if you buy 10 bags of dog food you get the 11th free.

We will be supporting this local shop much more in the future!

I've been frequenting this store for a few years now! Moving from New York to Winston-Salem, I was looking for a place to buy quality dog food that was hard to come by in your typical large chain pet store. It's really important to me that my pups get high-quality food to avoid potentially more expensive health problems later, even if that means paying a little more for their food upfront. This store time and time again has delivered, figuratively and literally. The free local delivery has impressed me time and time again, sometimes even getting deliveries the same day I've placed them! Otherwise, whenever I've had any sort of issues come up, they've always been extremely accomodating and helpful with resolving them. Their pricing is also fair, as they will price match which is awesome because it makes me feel like I'm always getting the best price. I'm constantly amazed by the service I get from this business and will continue to return for all my dog food needs.

We found Earthborn food there at a fair price as well as natural treats and flea treatment. The attendant working was extremely knowledgeable and kind. I will return for keepsakes, food, toys, treats, and natural medicines.

It's located the same shopping center as Whole Foods. Looks huge but I only went in to look for a birthday bone for my dog. I found that and much more. They have a bunch of affordable dog cookies and I found a happy birthday bone for my dog that already included a candle! It was about $14? They had some really cute collars and leashes but again I didn't venture into the store too much. I will most definitely be back to see what else they have!

I've been coming here for years to get my dogs food. They carry the good stuff! Honestly, they do. I have bulldogs that require special food and this is the best place! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Sometimes too helpful and wont take a hint you don't want to buy a dental chew toy, but whatever. They often have sales and there is a loyalty program for buying the same bag of dog food repeatedly. They also have toys, human stuff for dog lovers and tons of custom treats! I highly suggest this place.

Great new pet store with lots of variety especially with specialty pet items. Anything you need for your dog can be found here: medication, food, toys, beds, etc. there is a small section in the back for cats food items both dry and wet food.

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The location is great, in the same plaza as whole foods.

The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because I think some of their items can be a little pricy compared to other places.

I have visited this place several times now, but it wasn't until today that I realized how much l love it! I ran in quickly to get the dog some chews, but this time I thought to engage the staff and ask the questions I failed to voice out loud on all my previous visits. And what do you know....the staff is not only knowledgeable, but also really friendly and seemed to take a genuine interest in hearing about my pooch, which of course I could discuss at length!!!

They were able to reco an array of treats and chews for my dog, who has some allergies so we have to be careful of ingredients. I get her food now from Whole Foods, but due to my experience today, I am thinking of switching. The added perk would be the free bag you get as part of their loyalty program after purchasing 10 bags. Not huge, but it helps!

Can't wait to give Olive all her goodies today. I will def, be back for the toys, treats and awesome service!

Great store with high quality food and treats but the service is terrible and gets worse each visit there are other stores as good with better service.

Nice store and staff is always nice. I always know products in the store are made in usa and good selection of food and treats.
