Still haven't had a bad meal at this place. The Philly Skins are my new favorite appetizer as they were incredible!
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jan 15, 2022Previous reviewI came across this restaurant while perusing thru Instagram. I creeped on their page for several weeks before finally bringing the wife there for a meal. And over the past year, we've been at least 4 times.
This restaurant is awesome. The owner and staff are wonderful and the food is incredible. It's also conveniently located just off I-87.
Shortly after being seated, they bring a fresh loaf of bread to your table. This bread is served with sides of garlic butter or cinnamon sugar.
If you've still got room after that tasty bread, you're in for a delightful treat because the entrees will not disappoint. Everything is made to order from scratch and the portions are large.
When we revisit restaurants, we make it a point to order different items from the menu and we've yet to have a bad meal from this place. - Jul 5, 2023
Excellent. The food was exceptional , portions large, service impeccable, host friendly and atmosphere comfortable.
We loved everything we ordered. We had appetizers, drinks, and entrees of schnitzel, steak and chicken francese. All was delicious as were the sides. Even the bread and butter were special.
We couldn't save room for dessert but wished we had. We will be back !Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Robin C.NJ, NJ139816Feb 18, 2023
Chose this establishment on reviews for phenomenal steaks and desserts, and am so thankful we did!!
The entire staff from host to waitstaff were so welcoming and attentive- Lisa truly created a wonderful experience for our belated anniversary.
The steaks are huge, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The Chilean sea bass, although the portion was smaller than I expected, was buttery and crisped .
You HAVE to save room for dessert! All homemade, I singled out the peanut butter pie for him, and was talked into the trifecta cheesecake- cookie dough, cheesecake, and brownie ... HEAVEN.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Melinda S.San Francisco, CA143Aug 19, 2023
Ok. I hate to be that person, but we went on a Thursday 8.17 2023 for our 3rd anniversary. Now I've been here before, before the pandemic, and I didn't have one issue. But this day, my bf ordered the prime rib, queen cut medium... When it came to the table it was bloody and half of it was fatty, had to cut all the fat out and still couldn't eat it bc it was mooing. However I ordered some chicken dish, which was ok, a little thin and parts of it (edges) were overcooked. The best part of this evening was the garlic butter and cinnamon butter, the 'homemade' roll was ok, but not from what I remembered.
Basically, we will never be going back. And the meal was $92.
Found out afterwards that they have new owners and they are liars and cheats. Be forewarned before you go.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Diane M.Rotterdam, NY1175181480Feb 25, 2023
Still thinking about this 24 hours later. Went in with a party of 5. Had reservations. Got a booth and had plenty of room. Cool "Pub" feel but not a steakhouse feel. The prices were surprisingly steakhouse worthy but the ambiance was lacking to me, and felt like more of a neighborhood pub. With that being said, for dinner prices then to add a salad or soup you were easily in the 50.00 plate range, for most but not steak. The 16 ounce Ribeye was 54.00. I wanted so bad to try the Bloody Mary but for 22.00 I had to pass. I went with the 14 ounce pork chop. You had the choice of 3 of either applesauce, cherry peppers or cherry port wine. I went with the cherry peppers. Couldn't find them but wasn't a fan of the actual sauce. The pork chop was prepared perfectly and loved the taste of the char grill but the sauce over took the pork taste. The mashed potatoes were great. Two dishes were for the chicken Frances's. 27.00. Tasted ok but 27.00. You can always add a soup or salad for 4.00. The fish and chips were excellent and a big portion for the price. 22.00. That was the winning dish for the price. Maybe "casual dining " but definitely not "casual pricing". We did get a "shareable " . The calamari. We ordered the fra diavolo. Got the regular. Didn't say anything. For 19.00 it was ok but small. I guess, with a table of 5, a small dish a bread, and 1 hour before the entree was served that's a lot of time. We did get the calamari but not much to share. We didn't see our waitress much, but a long booth requires long reaches or help with dishes.
All and all, we had a good meal but hung up on the prices for what you get. I guess " Affordable Prices ", means different things to different people.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 147186329Aug 2, 2022
So far so great! I've been next door 10 times to charge my Tesla and always wondered about this unassuming restaurant. This time i noticed the great porch and asked if my dog could join us and they were very accommodating. The owner was fantastic and the waitress kind.
It all starts with the Crab dip!! It has, well... lots of crab and not over powered by cheese. It's fantastic and I don't even love crab dip but this can make you a believer and comes with both toast pointsHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jeff L.Hermosa Beach, CA013Sep 29, 2023
Priced as if it wants to be Mortons but with a drastic (to downside) difference in quality. I'd avoid if you are in the area.

We stopped here on a trip upstate and loved everything! Great staff, convenient location, and most importantly: amazing food! From the bread on the table to the desserts. Everything was fresh and so tasty! The portions are also very generous!
We are bummed we don't live closer but will be stopping here every time we are in the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
