Village Inn

The wife and I went to the Village Inn today for breakfast/lunch. Our server was a lovely lady named "Breeze". She is without a doubt the best waitress we have ever had the pleasure to come across. She was prompt, attentive, INCREDIBLY friendly and nice. Our order was perfect, and she checked on us at least three or four times to make sure our visit there was worth the money. She even thanked me for my service as a law enforcement officer and my military service. We have family coming down from Chicago soon and breakfast will be a "breeze" at the village Inn!

We ordered from here and received the wrong item in the delivery and it came with a note that says "they made the supper French toast by mistake, it's much better!" Instead of making what we actually ordered. Did not even include other items in the order such as fruit and bacon.

I come to this village in to eat with my family
And order the same thing I always order
2 double decker club
1 chicken tenders & fries fries were too crispy
I asked the service for a second refills & I'm waiting & waiting some dipping sauce
They see me standing there for like about 20 minutes and nothing and one server comes out with only one sauce & throws it with attitude
That I didn't ask for so I had to intervene with manager & explain to her how bad of a service I experienced when I always come here
The manager ended up giving me a discount

This place has been around since I was in elementary. It was a Sunday gathering spot for us many years and still is til this day. They have since upgraded the decor inside and the business has since improved over the years. Not only that but the food still has flavor. We order our usual skillet with eggs and pancakes. I went ahead with the chicken fried skillet with a waffle and it was surely delicious. Anyone else remember when they would hand out ballon or two. The good old days. Service with a smile and you can take a pie home

Came in Ford breakfast date with the hubs. Gosh we hadn't been to a Village Inn in so long. Upon walking in I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the place! I didn't get that disgusting feeling like I do walking into an iHop. The place even smelled good.

We were immediately greeted by the hostess and taken to a table. Upon sitting down we were greeted by our waitress who took our drink order. She then returned and got our food order. She was so attentive the entire time were there! It's so hard to have good service lately so when we do, it's refreshing.

Our food was out in no time! I got the build your own breakfast for $10.99 which includes your choice of a slew of items. My choices were: 2 eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, and multigrain pancakes which I ended up taking home. Breakfast was good. 4 stars because my bacon was overcooked to the point where it was almost burnt.

I'd definitely go back. Oh and on Wednesday you get free pie!

Took my son here a few weeks ago for breakfast. Exceptional service. Waitstaff was very friendly and happy to tell us all the specials. We visited on a Wednesday which is pie day. That was pretty cool. Had a great breakfast and left stuffed. Only complaint is it felt a little pricey compared other diners of similar quality and this location was rather older and it smells like old carpet.

Husband wanted breakfast so we searched out somewhere close that he could pick up real quick.

It's a diner feel and the food was really good. Husband enjoyed it and it was definitely enough for both of us. I ate a saucer of it.

Very tasty, seasoned just right. We took it to go so there isn't a whole lot for me to say. Worth trying out.

This was a one-and-done for me. Took a while for the food to arrive and it wasn't busy. When it did arrive it was barely warm. It must have been sitting in the window for a while. I know it's an older establishment but it definitely needs some TLC. Dirty and smells old.

The last time we were here the place was very busy. The place looked and smelled old. Not very well kept. We waited 15-20 minutes and decided to leave. If the dining room and the entrance was dirty I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like.

Very satisfied with this visit. Even though the dining room was busy, we were seated in a timely manner. Meal was great. Everything was cooked to our satisfaction. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Don't bypass this one, worth the trip.
