Employment Trends is not sexy. It doesn't have the chic vibe of something like Boly Welch. You will complete mountains of paperwork for hours and then do a drug test, which consists of peeing in a cup and then HANDING YOUR CUP OF PEE to the person you've been politely chatting with for their inspection.

But you will get work, and that's what matters.

In fact, I got a gig right at my interview, for the very next day! It was a one-day gig changing lightbulbs, but still. Money.

They called me for a couple more opportunities that didn't work out for various reasons, but a month or so later, they got me another one-day gig at an office, which turned into two days. On the second day, my recruiter called and offered me a temp-to-hire position at an office from which I type this very review.

So, needless to say, they're very good at what they do. My recruiter, Kara, was very nice and worked round the clock for me without me lifting a finger (none of this email your availability every week business). Maybe I just got lucky, but as far as I'm concerned this is the place to start (and maybe finish!) your Portland job search.

I rated this company 5 stars, because I have such great experiences with them. I have been working with the most awesome woman ever, and her name is Jodi Nachtrieb. She has gone above and beyond when it comes to helping me find employment. I can't say that I have been the easiest to work with as I just recently relocated, but it hasn't stopped her from working very hard on my behalf. Jodi if by chance you see this, I want you to know how much I appreciate you, and how great of an experience you have made it for me to work with you and your Portland West office. I am just very blessed that you are the one that answered the phone the day I called, thank you so much.

Terrible customer service and communication is nonexistent. It's a waste of time and effort, give someone else your business.

Terrible place to plant any type of work roots. I would say don't waste your time unless you want skilled labor work. I went in for an accounts payable position which I was more than qualified to do however walked out being ask if I wanted to go work in the caves. Huh
