I recently rented a camera lens that retails for nearly $1700 from LensRentals.com. They ship it to you in a well packed box and they include a postage paid shipping label for an easy return. This means that the price you are quoted on the site is exactly as much as it's going to cost you to rent the lens.

They keep you well informed of where your rental is at during the entire process. When I rented mine, the item was out of stock and they kept me informed as to when it would be back in stock and where I was at in the queue to receive the item.

All in all it was a great experience. I'll definitely rent from them again.

The service, seafood and scenery are all top notch at Brophy Bros. I sat on the patio overlooking the harbor. The place gets a little crowded and consequently a little loud. Eating outside helped me stay away from the majority of the noise, though.

The clam chowder was excellent! When you order a cup, they serve it in a cup. A coffee mug, to be exact. Heavy on the clams and potatoes, their chowder has some real substance!

I had the swordfish which is served with guacamole and salsa on top. it was perfectly cooked and the portion was perfect. I walked away full, but not STUFFED.

This place will definitely be on my agenda next time I'm in Santa Barbara.

I had first seen this place on yelp and then drove by it as we are staying 3 minutes away. We hit it up for lunch and I have to say, I'm very glad we did!

Their burgers are very good and the fries came out nice and crunchy. Just the way I like them. I added cheese and bacon to my double char and it was a match made in heaven.

The double char with cheese, bacon, fries and a soda was nearly $9.00, so it's the higher end of a fast food meal, but for the taste, it was worth it to me.

I stayed here for a conference in Santa Barbara and the place was quite comfortable. The room wasn't cramped, had a big bed, big TV, a microwave and a fridge in the room. I stayed on the second floor with a room facing the beach, which was very nice.

If I were to come back to Santa Barbara, I would certainly stay here again. Even on my own dime.
