They used to be OK, now not only won't they work with other credit unions (ATM services only), but they won't even exchange cash for ONE roll of quarters because "they only have enough for their members". Worst credit union I've been to. I had thought about switching to them since they're closer to my work, but they're as lame as BOFA, and that's not why I use credit unions.

Place is great, to the person complaining about parking - you're an idiot. Why would you drive to a business located on market street? And if you did, just park on turk somewhere or in the garage on 5th Street or thereabouts. The Powell stop is right there and tons of buses and the f car. Jeeez, sf is really going to s*hit. F your groupon.
Anyways, awesone food and clearly marked vegan options. I dug it. A tad bit $ for the neighborhood or else if give it a 5 star. Check em out! -
I give this place 5 stars, even though it's more of an "awesome place to go if you're already in the area" and not really a destination eatery (especially due to lack of seating in the small space).
Anyways, I go here nearly every day at work. Great wholesome food (vegan food - and I guess non vegan options too if you want that kind of thing) and amazing soups (always vegan).
They don't really do much to their tempeh or tufu - evertything tastes very "fresh from the oven" and not fried or marinated, but they instead combine simple ingredients, great flavors, and add SUPER good sauces. Their bowls come with the sauces on the side, so you can pour as much over your food as you want. On a diet? Don't use ALL the garlic Tahini sauce over your bowl. Their Iron Giants wrap is a favorite of mine...beets, spinach, home make hummus and - I think - almond paste. Big and crazy good...and healthy! That means I can drink more later, right?
The folks who run it are also awesome, and even with lunch hour lines keep things coming out from the kitchen quickly. OK, they've messed my order a couple times, but it's never been a problem and once I even got a free apple out of the deal. It also really warms my heart seeing tattoos and Dead Milkmen and Motorhead shirts on anyone in the damn financial district! Keep up the good work! -
Vegan Options! They always have 2 vegan things on their menu which is rad, plus the guys are super friendly and make some GREAT tasting food. I'm currently devouring their mushroom etouffee. Limited hours for this North Beach popup (M-F 10:30 to 2:30 as of this posting), but thankfully I work around the corner...

New owners are awesome. Their homemade hummus and Tabbouleh are amazing, their bagels are vegan* and they have many vegan options (they also have plenty of non-veg stuff, carnivores).
Their house coffee is local and very good. Nothing fancy, but not expensive hipster coffee either. They have a huge board of all their food options that include Falafels, sandwiches, Mediterranean plates, and even hot dogs and chili dogs. They also sell dolmas and other sides that look good as well as fresh locally made baklava and pastries.
In other words, exactly what our neighborhood needed!
This is a selfish review because I will be bummed if these guys go out of business. Go spend some loot, because I need my morning humus and onion bagel!

Everyone here is great. They worked hard finding me replacement parts at a good price when I haven't had time to order/find them myself (I have a 1983 Chevy G20 diesel, so it's not the easiest van to find certain parts for sometimes).
Their garage is always full of cars, but their turnaround has always been really quick.
Recently I had my van stolen and the radiator was stolen (!!). They really went out of their way to find me a replacement (the online ones that claimed would fit, did not in fact fit my van's set up. We tried. Even radiators.com couldn't help me). In any case we eventually had one built, but they were extremely cool while my pain-in-the-ass old van was taking up space in their garage not making them any more money.
I was recommended to them from my friend, and I in turned have recommended them to a couple others.
Oh, and the main reason for my review- when I got my van back it was running better than it was before. No longer shaking when going really slow, and the wheels don't squeal when turning too far anymore. Not sure what tweaks they did, but it's pretty sweet. -
4 stars for everyone being super nice (despite what some of these reviews said) and that it was about $60 cheaper than almost all other hotels in the area. Also it has a lot of satellite cable channels. Don't think it had HBO though.
This place isn't for everyone, it plenty rough around the edges, but our room was clean, it smelt fine, we met nice people around the spa area (the floor of the spa needs some work), and had to let the water run for a minute to get hot- and get some of the rust out of the pipes.
If that scares you away, go somewhere else! But if you'd rather spend your cash on wine and food, check this place out. I'll be back for sure. -
4 stars, but customer service gets 5.
Got a $30 jug/growler of their wine blend -it was seriously tasty! Better than a few of the $24-$40 wines I'd tasted earlier in the day at the touristy estate vineyards. the girl was extremely nice, they had good music on, and we tasted their house wines for free. AND I got to fill up some of my jug while the wife took a picture. Real cool place.
Oh- also they had some good wines on sale for 30% off. -
minus one star for serving veal.
Rosamunde (the new location) has a great selection of beer -it's no Toronado or City Beer, but damn good. La Chouffe and St. Bernardus were on tap when I was there, along with a TON others, including standards like Anchor, etc...
I can't comment on the meaty sausages, but they had 3 vegan options there which I think were tofurkey and field roast. Like the other location on lower haight, they take their time grilling them and are 100% satisfying.
It was pretty crowded on a Monday, but we were lucky to find a seat.
