So far so good! I came for take out and had a drink at the bar while I waited. Diego (the bartender) is awesome and recommended a delicious wine. We will definitely be back! Probably Friday when there's a liv DJ. We are so excited for some new options Eastlake. Let's GO!

Hidden Gem Alert!!!
Every single thing about this restaurant is worth your time and money. The definition of a garden to table breakfast experience.

The restaurant is located in a quite neighborhood with a beautiful mountain view. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted with a smile and offered a choice of tables. We chose to sit on the patio. The waiter explained that all of the produce is grown behind the restaurant.

After we placed our orders the waiter come over to prepare table side salsa in a beautiful Molcajete. The tortillas chips were infused with cactus and beets.

Drinks- we had freshly prepared mimosas and sangria. It was fruity and delicious.
My food - I am pescatarian so I ordered a bowl of fresh fruit and avocado toast. OMG, it was delicious! Every ingredient was perfectly ripe. There was a lot of pride in these two very simple dishes. On top my the avocado toast had lightly sautéed cherry tomatoes, radish, and sautéed field greens. I would have been satisfied with just a bowl of the greens. So good!
Husband food - Chilaquiles with a side of roasted potatoes and black beans. The plate looked like a work of art. The tortillas remained firm until the last bite.

After breakfast we got a tour of the vegetable garden, a bag of fresh produce and fresh pesto to take home. It was a great morning

WOW! My group of 5 experienced and wonderful meal last night at Pushkin Russian Restaurant, from start to finish. This was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We chose this restaurant because we wanted to try something different and the first word that popped into my head was RUSSIAN. No different that most, the first thing I did was check Yelp for reviews and recommendations and saw a mix of emotions and experience. I am very happy I did not allowed the negative responses to stop me.

1st course: Meat platter and Pierogi
2nd course: Black Caviar
Entrées: Beef Stroganoff, Lamb Shank, Winter Rabbit, Moscow Duck, Swan Lake, and Siberian Stag
Desert Course: Honey cake, Sour Cream Cake, Chocolate Cake

I am very excited to write a review of this beautifully decorated North Park eatery. If you are from Louisiana/Mississippi, you will love this place! Isn't not the standing boilerplate food Canal Street Tourist search for. Yes, the staples are here, but with a twist. My friends and I had a great time! The food was very good, the staff was amazing and super accommodating. In true NOLA fashion, our group of 10 was lively and the staff was not bothered at all. The group and I had a variety of items, to include the "secret" menu. Sidebar - it was very nice to have the Chef, a New Orleans native, come out for a personal greeting and explanation of the secret menu. He even suggest mods to the menu and it all worked. The menu is a little pricey, but the portions and quality completely make up for it. I have the fried catfish and it was enough for two people!

The Bar Staff is very skilled with great personalities. Their welcoming spirit enhanced our dining experience. The cocktails were delicious, not overly sweet and my extra dirty martini was perfect.

My only complaint, (if its even a complaint) is that it was a little difficult for me to find items to enjoy on the menu due to personal dietary restriction. Eat here! Support this restaurant!
