WOW! Came to this place based on the yelp reviews and it didn't disappoint!! First of all, the names of the sandwiches are hilarious and creative and secondly the food is awesome. I ordered the Apple Butter Jeans, which is SO unique and such a wonderful combo of flavors that reminds me of Thanksgiving a little bit. I also adore apple butter and have never really had it on a sandwich before, so that was a lovely new idea. It was also hard to decide on what to get, so I definitely want to come back and try more stuff!

This particular location of West Elm has STELLAR employees!

I was recently in quite the pickle when a house painter accidentally broke one of the globes on our very unique light fixture that was already in the house when we bought it. After scouring the internet for hours, we were able to determine that the only place with anything like it ever was West Elm... but we had no receipts, no proof, no nothing. We called corporate customer service to inquire about getting a new glass globe (essentially a lamp shade as we didn't need any of the wiring of the actual lamp) and they basically told us that getting just the globe was not an option.. we'd have to buy a whole new lamp.. and these thing are NOT cheap. As you can imagine, I was quite dissatisfied with this answer, especially after being on hold for 2.5 hours to essentially be told I was SOL, so I decided to call our local West Elm to see if they could offer any solutions.

I initially spoke with a very kind and understanding employee (I believe her name was Tanya) and she called around to a bunch of local stores and then moved onto a national search to see if ANYONE had one of these globes! She finally found one in an Oregon store and arranged for them to ship it to Charlotte (and this is all during the Covid-19 shutdown mind you). It took a little while for it to get here and I started speaking with another employee named Kevin whenever I called for updates. After about 3 weeks, my globe finally came in and it was exactly what I needed and they didn't charge me a dime. I am SO thankful for our local store caring about its customers despite the overall customer service center not being very helpful. I will be sure to frequent this location again. :D

I was in town for only a day and looking for a place to chill/grab coffee before exploring the city. Yelp led me here and I'm so glad it did! They serve high quality crafted drinks including my favorite, a cortado. The coffee was also excellently brewed and most was single origin. Pro tip, buy a bag of their beans and get a free cup of coffee included.

The vibe of the place is like a mid-century modern/industrial chill. Tall ceilings, big windows, lots of plants (with human names!), and a record player. The place was very conducive to working, so if I lived local, I'm pretty sure I'd hole up here with my laptop on the regular.

This is the BEST Indian food in Charlotte!! After coming here for a Yelp Elite event, my husband and I were so thrilled with the quality of the food, that we decided to start a weekly take-out tradition and order new things off the menu each week. He has stayed true to his goal and literally tried something new each time, but I've stuck to my tried and true favorites. One of my favs is the Chicken Tikka Masala.. so good and creamy and fresh and you can choose mild/med/hot for your spice. Even to someone weak like me, hot was tolerable. I also love the Saag Paneer (spinach and cheese). Other things to note: the Mango Chat is delicious! Sweet and Spicy (only comes medium and hot and medium is quite a bit so beware), but it's almost like Indian nachos and I love it! And of course, the garlic naan is to die for. I've also ordered the Chicken Tikka before which is the spicy chicken that's in the masala, but beware, without the cream, this can get quite spicy as well.

Besides the awesome food, the business owners are some of the kindest people I've ever met. They value the quality of their food and make every dish to order. They also import spices straight from India. You can tell they care and they always greet you with a smile. They also have plenty that they can make that's not on the menu, so if you don't know what you want, just ask for a recommendation!

It's so nice to have good pizza in a casual way. I feel like the options in Charlotte offer either meh pizza and a casual take-out environment OR great pizza, but things are a little fancier sit-down style. Here, it's focused on good food with a place to sit if you want one. There's a ton of seating and big tall windows to let the light in.. a great lunch spot! The pizza is great, the sandwiches are probably even better, and the whole place is very clean. My favorite items include: Prosciutto pizza, caprese sandwich, and the meatballs. Oh, and everything is pretty affordable compared to other "fancy" pizza places with personal-size pies.

I can't believe it took me so long to finally come eat here! Apparently it's the oldest Asian restaurant in Charlotte? Or so our waiter claimed. He told us how the owner was so passionate about his restaurant, that he was there 6, sometimes 7, days a week. And we believe it; it was actually the owner who greeted us at the host stand and who bussed our plates at the end of the meal. He seems like a great restaurant owner.

Additionally, the food was excellent. We went because I was getting over a cold and was craving soup. We saw on Yelp that they were well known for their Thai Shrimp Soup, so I got that and oh man was it perfect! I also had some trouble deciding what to order for my main dish because everything sounded so good and the waiter was awesome at explaining the menu and giving suggestions. I wound up getting the Singapore Noodles, which consists of very thin rice noodles, chicken, shrimp, and veggies, in a yellow curry. On it's own, it's not spicy at all, but our waiter brought us some spicy oil per our request.

Next time, I can't wait to try some Spanish dishes!

I came here for a music event and really liked how intimate it was. They've got a great set-up for small acts, open mic nights, etc with seating for probably 50 or so? There were a few 3-4 seater high tops and then a bunch of long tables for big groups off to the side.

The tap wall housed a good number of beers from around the state as well as the country and in a variety of styles. I think pretty much anyone could find something they liked there. They also had a tap for wine.

We didn't get to experience it, but there is actually a little taco window that opens into this space! It's connected to South Bound, so you don't have to worry about leaving the space, walking around the building, or eating before you arrive. It also has its own bathrooms, so you don't have to navigate back to South Bound for that either.

This place is amazing!! I'm so glad I got to experience this with such an awesome crowd and before it becomes so popular with Charlotteans that it's hard to get it. Because, believe me, it will be popular!

I loved the ambiance... there's a whole tree that stands right in front of the main entrance and the branches lead all the way up through the second level. It's got a dark and moody vibe, but they've also installed lighting just right so that every table has a light source so you can actually read your menu. They've got a good variety of seating options depending on your group size: from intimate 2 arm chair set-ups to big booths, to large pub tables, they've got it all! They even have a MASSIVE patio on the third floor. Not much of a view unfortunately, but it's still a great outdoor space.

The alcohol situation is record-breaking... literally! They have the most taps in one establishment, beating out their own record in their Raleigh location. The first floor hosts a cocktail bar and a bar just for NC taps. The second floor is all intra- and inter- national taps I believe. The third floor taps aren't set up yet, but will be a good variety.

I personally stuck to cocktails at this event and was very pleased with my drinks. I started with the "That's What I Mint", a vodka and gin drink that was very refreshing. The then ordered a Blueberry Ginger Mule, also excellent. Drinks were efficiently made to order, but also not skimped with quality. The bartenders were super nice and accommodating with recommendations for our tastes.

It's also important to note that they were SO READY for us! They had a ton of staff working and it ran like a well-oiled machine despite being a soft opening. You'd never know it!

Yes, the food was slow to come out, but it's only events like these where 300 people all show up at once that puts strain on the kitchen. Any other evening, things would be staggered and I bet their timing would be totally fine. All the food we tasted was great and I definitely want to return to try the items I missed and more.

Can't wait to return! Thanks to Nikki, all the staff, and the management of the beer garden for having us!!

Everyone rated this so highly and talked it up, but I was very let down by my experience. My girlfriends and I planned to come here for a girls night and there were 7 of us. We called in advance to ask about reservations and they said they only do reservations before 7 or after 9 (this was a Saturday, so I don't know if this is all days or just weekends). So our group showed up right around 7 to put our name in. We were told 3 hours, but that we were welcome to go to the outside bar. It happened to be 30-something degrees, so we chose not to do that. However, they had two poor bartenders out there in the cold with no customers.. that would suck! That being said, the patio was beautiful and I would love to return for the atmosphere on a warmer day.

We chose to kill some time at another restaurant with an indoor bar and actually wound up being called/texted by Goodyear about an hour after initial check in. Since this is a new restaurant, I'm thinking that the false estimate was just because they are still figuring out their flow. We were seated in this pretty booth area, 3 on each side and one chair pulled up to the top, by the front entrance. It was cozy in there, but kind of a pain for anyone on the inside to get out to use the restroom. And since it was near the door, we had a bit of a cold draft.

Our waitress was sweet, and the menu looked awesome, but what actually came out to us was not terribly impressive. We started by ordering drinks and a friend of mine ordered one of their cocktails that listed tequila (she subbed vodka), grapefruit juice and sparkling water. When it came out, it had a salty/bacon-y/bloody mary like mix on the rim and the drink itself tasted like bacon. When the waitress returned, she informed us that the gradefruit juice was smoked (a dominate flavor like that should definitely be listed on the menu) and that the grapefruits themselves were smoked so they didn't have just normal juice. Strange.

Three of my friends ordered some smalls to share. I was able to taste the
fat city noodles which were actually very good and the mac and cheese, which was not my fav. I ordered the green monster sandwich and upgraded my fries to the bag of fries with herbs/garlic/parm. The sandwich was not impressive. It had a smashed butter bean salad, avocado, sprouts, and spicy cabbage on sourdough. The beans had very little flavor and needed some salt. And the bread was so stiff, it was really hard to eat. The fries were honestly the best part (crispy and I liked the seasoning), but they were delivered with the seasoning on the side and the waitress added it and shook it in the bag right in front of us. So it wound up being a light coating whereas I was expecting more of a loaded fry vs. a shaken fry. Just unmet expectations. Additionally, two other friends ordered the chopped salad, which I had also considered, but said it was very salty.. even more than the fries! One of them also ordered shrimp on hers, which came out as 2 shrimp on a skewer and she said they were under seasoned and very fishy. Ew.

The best part about this whole meal was actually the bread they brought to the table. It was light and fluffy and practically melted apart at the touch of a knife. It was well salted and same with a side of very fluffy butter. I could eat that all day.

I like the atmosphere of Goodyear House between the patio space and the cozy, homey dining space, but they have some room for improvement when it comes to what they actually serve.

This is probably my favorite restaurant at Snowshoe. The pizza is always good and we come here at least once every trip. I've honestly never had a bad order and the beer selection is always good too! Usually, with 4 of us, we get a large pie that is half and half. When you get half and half, the only catch is that they have to have the same base sauce. This past time we ordered the pesto base, but the red sauce is good too. Yes, it's a little pricey, but that's what you get in a resort area that has no other competition. However, I definitely recommend going at off times if you can since it tends to be quite busy at a more traditional lunch time.
