I have been to several European Wax Center locations, but I started regularly coming to the Newbury Street location in early 2018 because of a fabulous experience with Yuri.

I have been getting Brazilian waxes for years and no one has made me feel as comfortable as Yuri has during the process. She is so genuine and friendly, the results are great, and she's very attentive. We have had so many nice conversations and she never tries to oversell me any products.

I got notified this week that Yuri no longer works here, so I'm not sure who I will see going forward, as the next person is going to have big shoes to fill given my amazing experiences with Yuri!

I visit Atwood's regularly, at least once every two weeks, sometimes even more depending on the week and the time of year. I work right up the street, so this has always been a go-to spot for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays or an after work meal or drink. The waitstaff has always been pleasant, the food is excellent and the drinks are refreshing as well.

For food, I usually order their Grilled Chicken Sandwich or Veggie Burger, with either sweet potato fries or regular fries. No matter what style of fries you order at Atwood's, they are absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. Their regular fries are amazing, but the sweet potato fries are by far the best I've ever had. Their Veggie Burger is also excellent and one of the best in the area. I've also had their Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad (excellent) and their Macaroni and Cheese, which I would recommend as well.

For drinks, they have a great selection of beers to choose from, and their sangria is one of my favorites and so refreshing.

I have visited Atwood's plenty of times in the winter months, but I love stopping by during the summertime and in the early fall because of their outdoor seating. Even on a warm February night last week, I was here with my S.O. and they opened up their outdoor seating. The cute seating, twinkling lights and cute decorations make for a beautiful way to enjoy the outdoors and relax.

The Millworks is one of the chicest restaurants I've ever been to. It is such a gem in Harrisburg, and I really haven't visited anywhere else quite like it. The ambiance is beautiful, and it is such a comfortable, relaxing place to dine and drink.

I visited The Millworks the first time in February 2017 with two friends for lunch. I got one of their salads and the macaroni and cheese, both of which were superb. The weather was perfect that day and it was nice to have the sun shining in on us!

I went to The Millworks once again about two weeks ago while in town visiting one of the same friends. I told her going back to The Millworks was one of my top ideas for the weekend, and she was happy to go as always. We each got a cocktail and the ambiance was incredible in the evening as well. The lighting was perfect, there were candles and everything just felt perfect. Plus, the waitstaff here goes above and beyond. I will say also that I got an order of mashed potatoes when we were here for drinks - yummy!

Looking forward to my quarterly visits back to Harrisburg to see my friend and come back to The Millworks!

When I was in college in Mechanicsburg, I visited Juice and Java regularly with one of my close friends. It became a staple of my time living in Central Pennsylvania, and every time I come back to visit, I always stop by!

This is a cute little cafe with lots of choices for both food and drink. They have wraps, paninis and salads, all of which are generous portions with fresh, quality ingredients. They also offer a large selection of smoothies and specialty coffee drinks.

My friend usually gets the Green Machine smoothie, and I tend to alternate between the Tea-Licious and Berry Furious. For food, I have tried their salads several times, as well as the California Club wrap. Their freshly baked cookies are amazing, too!

I have always had a pleasant experience and I love all of the nice memories I have here!

All MiniLuxe locations are superb when it comes to being clean and sanitary, but this location in particular is by far my favorite in the area. Everyone I have met at this location is warm and welcoming, as well as professional and courteous. You do not get the same level of kindness at the two Newbury Street MiniLuxe locations.

By far, my favorite nail technician here is Tom. He's very friendly, always smiling and has great attention to detail. I have gotten two gel manicures by him, and they last far beyond 14 days. He's very nice to chat to and he makes getting your nails done a relaxing experience. I've gotten Signature Manicures, Performance Polish manicures and Signature Pedicures at this location as well with other nail technicians. Everyone is polite, but I do try to request Tom on the days he's working, simply because I've really enjoyed the appointments I have had with him.

Yes, the prices are more expensive compared to general nail salons, but the service, quality and sterile environment are worth every penny. They also have a customer service team you can contact if you find your manicure is not up to standard.
