Genuinely suprised at how good it was. The gyro meat was tender (beef and lamb), and the fries were pretty good, too. Good service, too. Easy to order online. Would definitely order again. And the dessert beignets were AWESOME.

Wish these guys actually could keep their promises. Our project was delayed 2 months because they quoted on timeline in January and completely didn't deliver until April. Decent workmanship if you can get them to commit to anything. Oh, and they didn't have any masks on when we went into their office, so you know Covid's probably ripping through their whole staff right about now, so be prepared to be vacc'd before you show up.

Daragh and his team did a great job on my backyard. Would recommend highly. They cleared out all the debris, compacted the sand, and installed beautiful sod and a sprinkler system for my backyard. Also a nice paver patio with steps. Give him a call!

Generous portions, good chicken, nice flavor and crunch on the batter. The waffles are decadent so don't expect to eat here and feel good about that gym day the next day. Seemed like a nice owner when I picked up my food. French fries are more like steak fries, since they are thick cut. The sides (mac, greens, beans, etc) were decent.

I've come here once every few months for three years. The pandemic has NOT been kind to Val's. Their service really went down the tubes - they do not have their act together when you come to pick up a to go order, and the last time I called, the receptionist said "Can you call back in 20 minutes"?
Seriously? 20 minutes? Why even bother? I'll be taking my business (reluctantly) to Original Joe's and Boulevard.
Edit: Also, if you MUST eat at Vals, here are a few tips:
1) The prime rib dinner cut is quite fatty. The trimming isn't exactly on point.
2) The cocktails are the saving grace of this place.
3) The burger will be a thick patty (not a smash burger) served on a french baguette bun, of all things.
4) The prime dip sandwich is probably the least expensive and best thing they have on the menu.
5) The mozzarella sticks were ok. -
Pretty darn good. Got the tom yum guy soup, a curry, the pad thai, and some crispy rolls. I liked the little details - the kaffir leaves in the soup was a nice touch. Would definitely order from these guys again.
8/22/2020 Thank you for your feedback about our food. We are glad that you like our food. Always welcome. -
Great daycare for our infant. We started when he was just 6+/- months old. Alejandro and Claudia are great, and Johanna too. They may have had to consolidate to one location instead of 2 due to CoVid, but Claudia has really proven to be a great knowledge base and resource for all of our (now) 1 year old's many eating and sleeping questions. Would definitely recommend them. Also, very affordable, too compared to other daycares! They also take very seriously all the CoVid precautions, so we feel very safe with our little boy there.

MAN these guys fell off recently. When they first opened, the pepitos and the extras/salsas were AMAZING. The nachos were the bomb (even though I got the vegetarian nachos, it was A LOT of guac and salsa and crema), and my wife got the chicken tacos, we had high hopes...
Then I ordered food one time before the pandemic, and the cashier was eating In N Out at the register while he was ringing me up. I mean, seriously dude? Do you own the place? Does your papi own the place? Because you can't do stuff like that...
Then the pandemic hit, and we decided to support these guys for takeout. Two regular nachos, please! So no meat. Still $10 +/- each. Guess what? Got home and they didn't have beans. WHAT KIND OF NACHOS DOESNT HAVE BEANS??!?
Forget these fools. There are others who are better at this game. Adios, Dos Charros. -
Wife got food poisoning today from a Thursday vegetarian lunch dish. Not good. Has been puking and going to the bathroom for the last 3 hours. Thanks Osha Thai for the food poisoning! /s

They are VERY expensive, especially compared to other powder coaters in the Bay Area. We've only done one project with them and the paint quality was good, but the turnaround time and the price aren't up to par with what's available these days. Maybe they also changed owners as well - noticed that the same guy we worked with 2-3 years ago is no longer there now.
