What an amazing, beautiful and great vet that is much needed in the area. We used to have to drive up to UC Davis for some trusted vet needs for our dogs but now we are only a short drive away! We met Dr. Ashley when she was at Creature Comforts, so needless to say, when she opened her own practice, we would follow her!
Dr Ashley is absolutely wonderful! She listens well and pays full attention to what you have to say. She remembers what paths we prefer to go with our pet needs and wouldn't recommend anything that we would not need to just make the money. She truly cares about animals and you know your pets would be in good hands under her care. Her team members are all so wonderful dog lovers. We felt comfortable to have our new puppy to undergo the very first surgery in house since opening. The neuter surgery went well and Dr. Ashley did a fantastic job on the suturing. Lil' Paul healed up quickly!
Our other dogs, Doctor and Mini also had numerous acupuncture sessions with Dr. Ashley and they both had received great results. Mini is almost 14.5 years old and full of arthritis. Dr. Ashley is able to maintain Mini's pain or discomfort including acupuncture and laser treatments. If you see Mini in the park, you wouldn't think he is over 14 years of age and full of arthritis!
I highly recommend Marina Village Veterinary, Dr. Ashley and team for any pet needs you might need. Thank you for taking great care of our little wegies!! -
I have heard great things about Mr. Muggles' for quite some time now. We finally brought our babies in. Mini is a senior dog who doesn't socialize well with other dogs but he enjoyed his time in between his grooming session. Our 9-month old puppy, Lil' Paul had a great time socializing with other doggies. They have plenty of staff monitor the doggies playtime which I feel very comfortable with. I love that Mr. Muggles' is clean, modern and bright! Lil' Paul looks forward to many more playtime with other doggies!!

We went in two days ago looking for a bar cabinet but there was nothing in the floor. There was a specific piece or pieces that we were looking for. One of them is removed from the website whenever there is a sale. SHADY!! Then we were told the Corte Madera store has the other piece in their showroom that we could look at. So we went yesterday. The next paragraph is our experience at the other store:
We came in yesterday to try to look at a piece of furniture in your showroom only because the @restorationhradwarewc (Walnut Creek) advised us you have it. We walked around and did not see it and found this older white lady at the register counter about it. She has no idea what a bar cabinet is and had no idea what we were talking about. She said "I don't know why they would tell you we have it. You see it on our catalog/online? You can just buy it from the website." I said I apparently saw it online/catalog but would like to see it in person and that's why we are here. She said, "we have thousands of pieces of items and can't possibly display everything on floor." No kidding Sherlock!! That's why we tried to find out which store has it so we drive all the way to your store to see after we were told you had it on your floor. She then advised me to buy it and have it delivered to my home. If we don't like it, we could just call and have it returned and picked up. SERIOUSLY?!!! How inefficient that is abs a waste of time!! What kind of sales person/customer service that is?! Then this younger salesman shouted across the floor and asked the lady we were talking to for a measuring tape. SERIOUSLY?!!! Are you guys working in a flee market?! You couldn't see that she was with a customer?! You shouldn't be shouting across the room asking for anything! You should've excused yourself from you'd customer and walked with your own feet to grab it yourself. I don't know what kind of salespeople you trained in this store but it is just unbelievable!!! I miss the Berkeley store where you had the best salespeople working at that shop. Oh well, you lost a sell from us and we bought other pieces from elsewhere but I am sure you don't give a damn anyway! -

The house-made tortilla is the bomb! Easily my favorite tortilla in the areas right now! The salsa and the warm bean dip for chips at the table was addicting!! I normally don't eat much of the chips and dip but I'm hooked!

My favorite bagel shop in the entire Bay Area! Super nice and friendly owners/staff. Their house-made corned beef and smoked salmon are BOMB! We come here at least once a week, need I say more?! Don't bother with other bagel shops... this is legit!!

A few years ago, Seb and I had to travel to Seattle once a year for his work. While he was working, I'd wonder off to the Pike's Place Market's Spice Shop. Our suitcases to return home smelling like a spice shop. How I wished there was an awesome spice shop in Oakland!
Now, not only a spice shop is in Oakland but an awesome spice shop with tons of varieties and super nice owners/staff with unlimited knowledge of spices. They have just about anything. I could walk in there asking for 5lbs of pink curing salt, and they'd have it and the pricing is very fair! Our catering company buys all of our spices from them and without them, running errands for it would be super dreadful and super expensive for mediocre products.
Thank you so much for being you and being in the awesome O! -

The brick is the trick!!! Indeed it's a trick to make the grilled cheese sammies the perfect crusts!! I am a huge fan! I also LOVE their pickles and their summer time grilled peaches! I want some right now! Make sure you follow him on FB and Twitter and see where he will be next!!
