I was in town for a work weekend and had the pleasure of taking a couple of classes.  The space was delicious and the teachers were spectacular.  So sad that I live in California and won't be able to come to class here weekly.

Stay here! If you come to Charleston and don't stay at Zero George, you are missing out.  There are so many little things they do everyday to make every guest feel special and cared for, it makes you grateful for the opportunity to stay here.  

The rooms are gorgeous and come with unexpected delightful details like the complimentary chilled cabinet stocked with glass bottled water, sparking juice, and creamer.  Also great were the complimentary bikes and the turn down service every-night with fresh cookies and ice water.

I can't say enough about the staff, everyone was so lovely... hands down the best hotel service I have ever experienced.  Here are a few of the things I loved; Personalized texts before my arrival to make sure they were prepared for my arrival, every staff member was happy and engaging, many different recommendations on how I could further enjoy the property, and overall unparalleled customer service.  

I look forward to staying here again soon!

This is hands down the best tasting menu I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.  The staff was nothing short of perfection, every course perfectly timed, perfectly paired, and perfectly explained.  It started at inventive, built to delicious, and ended with desserts so perfect that I was truly devastated I couldn't eat them both.... and I don't usually like dessert.  Some of the wines they chose were absolute stunners!  If you want to have a moment that makes you question all other food that has entered your mouth, this is that moment.  Lastly... $135 for wine +food... I'm honestly shocked at the value.  This place is a hidden gem, in 3 months they will have a 6 month waiting list and a publicist.  Get in while you can.

We were in town for a week with 3 kids and ate at The Buttered Biscuit 3 times.  Obviously order the biscuits!  Everything we ordered was great! Pancakes, eggs Benedict, biscuits & gravy, were all stand outs!

Perfect New York Italian spot!  This small and charming spot is absolute perfection.  The wine list is great and unpretentious and the Gnocchi is simple and delicious.  I hope to be back many times.

This has become our regular breakfast spot.  We get the Eggs Benedict with hash browns instead of toast making it Gluten Free on a regular basis.  The burrito, omelettes, and simple fried eggs are delicious and fresh.  The service is best in class!

The short review is that I love it!  We had the Gluten Free Atascadeli (French dip), Bullseye (Roast Beef), and Duck Fat Fries. All were excellent!!  Everything has a gluten free option, which is so appreciated!!

I love this style spot for Atascadero.  Here are a couple of things I think would make it even better.  1. More tables - I would do just long continuous picnic tables.  There are only 8 tables and 3 were filled with just 2 people when I was there with at least 10 people waiting to sit.  If you give People a place to sit they will stay and drink beer.  I saw a handful of people walk up and leave because there were no tables.
2. The side room is too loud. Maybe an area rug or something would make it easier to sit in there.  The acoustics are so bad you want to eat and leave as soon as possible.  
3. Barrier between the eating area and street.  Potted or planted shrubs would create a sound barrier and some privacy for those eating.  All designed to encourage people to eat and drink longer.

We will be back many times!

Just baked is the best bakery in town, they always over deliver.  I have order numerous custom order cakes and cupcakes.  The flavor and design is always perfect.
