Hadn't been in since their soft opening so I thought Id stop in to grab some grub. The owner as always was very welcoming and warm. She was very informative when I asked about their different variations of Cafe' & gave a great recommendation for the Cortadito, which was amazing. Much like a Vietnamese Cafe'. I ordered the Lechon plate with a side of Maduros. The entire plate was delish, The Guava Habanero BBQ sauce paired with the Lechon was amazing! Great flavors and huge portions. The ambiance of the resty is very fitting to the cusine served here, Never been to Cuba but I can imagine its very much like this. My favorite were all the beautiful succulents in the outside patio & surrounding areas. Great place to dine, welcoming staff who take pride in their establishment and great customer service. Thank you for your hospitality Cuban Kitchen!

BEST Afghan Food Hands DOWN! Ive tried a few Afghan spots like Kabul in San Carlos & Ghazni in Hayward...This place outbeats them all. Their afghan bread is so good and compliments the main dishes. My Go To is the Chapli & Lamb. Their Leek Bolani is great. Portions are big & food is made to order. The spices & flavoring are always on point. The only downfall is the space, its not good for large groups, table sizes are pretty small & ideal for 4-5 people max. In any case I will forever be a loyal customer.

Loved our experience tandem kayaking. I came across DayGo Adventures after reading a few blog posts that recommended this service. Cave Rock was about 13 minutes away from our hotel on the main strip. My Husband and I booked a 9am slot on our Anniversary morning. Anthony was super helpful and informative. The water was clear & calm, weather in the Summer was perfect & parking was no hassle. After some tips & education on handling the equipment Anthony had us on our way. The tandem peddling Kayaks made it super relaxing to peddle and take in the scenery and take lots of pictures. Although we booked a 4 hour slot, Anthony was chill & told us to come back whenever we wanted. We packed sandwiches & docked in a shady cove for lunch. All in all we were on the water for 3 hours. Beautiful experience. We will definitely return with the Family. Thanks for a memorable experience!

This place! Food is good, cheap and they give big portions..But I shit you not...Yesterday when I went in the rude ass lady serving said "HurryUpWhaaaaaChuWant?" I was taken back as there was a language barrier and I thought I misheard her until she rudely said it again "HurryUpWhaaaaChuWant?" I felt pressured to HURRY UP so I annoyingly ordered my food, paid and left. I would honestly still come back bc I do like their food and the Chef seems to be doin his job. Customer service is terrible and needs to be addressed

Being such a fair skinned person I'm super grateful to have found Jen through a mutual friend. I've had two spray sessions with Jen & on each occasion she never disappoints. Prior to seeing her I never had a spray tan & I was a bit nervous not knowing what to expect. Jen shattered all my fears, she walked me through the entire process makings me feel super comfortable in my own skin. Kind hearted, professional & very accommodating. The trip from Hayward to San Ramon is so worth it! I refuse to go anywhere else. My sunless tans have been long lasting & never streaky. Thank You Jen for making me feel so confident & beautiful in my skin!

I would give these assholes ZERO stars if I could....
Ridiculously OVERPRICED and incredibly RUDE Service. Came in for the first time during lunch hour and couldn't shake the feeling that the staff was purposely avoiding my friend and I, we couldn't help but observe how EVERYONE around us who were seated AFTER our arrival were being catered to & served promptly, brought drinks & fresh bread while we sat for 15 minutes in hopes that we would at least be noticed & brought menus. Our RUDE waitress finally came to the table, when we explained that we were limited on time & wanted to place our order her insulting expressions screamed "Oh Fucking WELL!!" when we asked if their $14 Burgers came WITH bacon & cheese she looked at us like "ARE YOU KIDDING??" Of course that was EXTRA, By the end of requesting bacon, avocado & cheese & mushrooms, my $14 Burger was well over $20...Forty seven minutes after walking in (Lunch hour was basically OVER) being blatantly ignored & tolerating the rude staff we ended up walking out! EFF YOU Paul Martin & your snooty ass staff! Will never return, their overpriced burgers, minimal selection of items on their menu & the extreme judgement we experienced upon entrance will never be tolerated or supported! -
By the looks of this place, Its way underrated, the ambiance looks a bit outdated but the food is tasty & served hot & fresh. I like to come here on my lunch hour, their Salt & Pepper Pork Chops, Honey Walnut Shrimp & Combo Fried Rice are delish. Prices & service are average. Great place for flavorful Chinese cuisine, Definitely prefer this resty over Oceanic as their food is a bit bland to me...My top pick so far for Chinese Cuisine in San Mateo.

I've literally been here on five separate occasions in the last two months, My infatuation for this resty grows stronger on each passing occasion. Of all my adventures here, I am yet to find a dish that I am unhappy with. Must haves when dining here are Cube Steak, Spicy Chicken Wings, Salt & Pepper Prawns & Garlic Noodles. Extra Lime/Pepper sauce? Yes PLEASE! The Bird's Nest & the Shrimp Claypot are equally amazing. Dishes are served family style, super flavorful with BIG portions. Cocktails are served strong & on almost every occasion I like to wrap my meals up with a Banana Flambeau & a Vietnamese Cafe'. Great place to host a big group, it doesn't look big from the outside but its very roomy...Will return again...& again...& again...

My Husband & I celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary here last weekend. The ambiance was dim/intimate & the food was amazing. The resty has both a formal dining area (No Ball Caps allowed) & then a more casual/lounge dining area. We were seated on the casual side. We started with the Blue Crap, Shrimp & Artichoke Dip, it was served with grilled pieces of rustic bread, served warm in a cast iron dish it was perfectly seasoned and not overly cheesy. My Husband and I both ordered the NOLA Jambalaya Risotto. I consider myself a Risotto Junkie, Ive tried many variations but this Risotto is among the BEST I've ever tried. It was topped with Gulf Shrimp, Clams, Chicken, Catfish & Andouille Sausage with just enough spice to give this dish just enough kick. Throughout the night we ordered two rounds of Long Islands, which were more like STRONG Islands - Great bang for our buck...Service started off a bit slow, but our waiter was very helpful & informative when it came to explaining dishes on the menu, He also overlooked our third request for drinks & brought us an EXTRA round on the house. Deff enjoyed our dining experience here, perfect date night & highly recommended for groups.

Great Food. RUDE Fucking Service. Came here with my friend on lunch HOUR but waited 30 minutes just to get seated, which means we scarfed our food in a hurry...Ordered our regular Garlic Lobster Broth w/ an extra piece of Stewed Pork & some Chicken Kaarage. After some slow service & having to flag a few waitress' down we got our bill which came to $45, since they took their sweet time I chose to leave a $2 tip...Minutes after paying why did the tall gumpy japanese guy who seats/takes orders literally chase us down demanding more than $2 for a tip? Hand written on the bottom of my receipt was a "suggested" gratuity. We were a party of 2 not 8. Last time I checked gratuity was optional and a courteous gesture, Never been to a place where they chase you down for a mandatory tip...The food is great but that guy ruined it. He will most likely spit in my food next time, sadly wont be returning here, Be sure to TIP generously unless you want to get chased down the street (how embarrassing people probably thought we dined and dashed) Apparently TIPS are mandatory here.
