My daughter had exams coming up and to access her college test, she needed her iPhone to access Microsoft authenticator. The shop that I recommended which was down the street was not open, so she tried iFix as a last resort. They were prompt in their service and told her that her phone would be ready within a few hours. She came back. The phone was ready. She was able to access her test at night, however, the next day the repair did not last. She then took it back to the Verizon store and they explained that the repair that was done was improper and when they ask her how much she paid they said the $120 was twice as much as she should have been charged. I don't know how you take advantage of a 19-year-old young woman, but iFix had no problem doing it
I would stay as far away from this business as you possibly could .
Forget what you thought you knew about vegan pizza, because vegan or not, the food here is AMAZING. In fact, my daughter chose this spot for her upcoming birthday dinner over, well just about anywhere in the 904 area.
Let me clarify one thing, my daughter has a dairy and gluten allergy, so we were already excited to give this spot a try. So often vegan food is odd in taste or texture, so finding a solid vegan place gets us excited.
I really cannot say much about the dining room other than it was neat and clean, since I was picking up food to go. But I can tell you they checked my order to make sure it was all there, so that tells me they are attentive to the customer. Also, parking was easy, do don't let that be an issue for you.
But the food:
Phony Pepperoni - loved the title, loved the flavor
Hot Un Honey Money Bread - I found them to be more like garlic knots
Veg Out- loaded down with veggies, not my favorite
Power to the Pesto - my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE, it was so good
Rustic Rita - another solid choice
I have to say, I liked everything I tried. So while my favorite was the pesto pizza, there were certainly other options that are good and good for you
Wow, who thought Brazilian pizza could be so good.? If you think you've tried every pizza out there, guess again you've not tried.Chello's pizza toppings
I have been eyeing this location for several months, but it is nowhere near my house, so I needed a good excuse to stop in. My wife was out of town, so we had a boys night (my son and son-in-law) for the Friday night all you can eat buffet. I can tell you we really enjoyed ourselves both the wonderful service and unique brand of pizzas that Chello's serves.
We did make one rookie mistake, and that was we actually tried the buffet. Take my advice don't go near the buffet, but get the buffet dinner. Because with the buffet dinner, they bring around pizzas for you to try, almost as if you were a Brazilian steakhouse (which is what it felt like). I can tell you the pizzas they brought out, we're outstanding and if they didn't have a pizza for you to try, they were glad to go back and do one so that everybody got to try it.
But enough about our mistakes what you really want to know, is about the food;
Caprese salad - it was on the buffet, but it was really good.
Caesar salad - it was also on the buffet, but it was also really good.
Cheeseballs - exactly as it sounds, really good.
Pizza balls - kind of like pigs in a blanket, not really my thing.
Lasagna - my least favorite thing I tried. I thought it was oversalted and under sauced.
Brazilian meat pizza - Brazilian sausages, sliced up on Brazilian pizza, fantastic.
Bacon and turkey pizza - another really good pizza
Chicken Alfredo pizza - OK it's not what it's called but that's what it taste like, small bites of chicken with a cream sauce was really delightful.
Coconut pineapple pizza - one of the dessert pizzas in the coconut and pineapple were served on a cheesy crust of the offputting, but it was really good.
Nutella and strawberry pizza - call me, Bessie, the cow, but this was pretty amazing. Luckily I filled up on the buffet so I couldn't eat 10 pieces of these only had one, but it was good enough to have 10.
Churro pizza - to me, this tasted like cinnamon, cinnamon toast, but again served over cheese, which for me, took away from it a little bit but I'm sure that's the Brazilian way, and we were here to eat Brazilian pizza.
The woman who brought out the pizzas to us, would bring out fresh pizza and then go from table to table to see if anybody wanted a slice she was phenomenal. What wasn't phenomenal is that we couldn't get refills on water, lemonade, soda, or anything even after asking two and three times, it didn't take away from the experience because we really love the food, but it would be nice to be able to have your beverages reasonably filled up every now and then.
Each night has different special, call or go to their website to see.
Sunday has a brunch special for $16.99, that they invited us back for.
Really good experience, of some unusual in the pizza space . I cannot think of a reason not to try it.
What a cool spot for a casual meal. Inside seating or outside, depending on the Florida weather, you will be comfortable at either.
First, this is a small chain that started in Key West, but it does not have a chain feel at all. In fact, one of the things that impressed me was that they make all their own sauces every day and guess what, they are delicious.
So here is my run down of the food:
Sweet Chili Sauce - amazing, this sauce worked on everything we tried. Rich, full, slightly sweet slightly spicy.
Honey Mustard - FABULOUS, their version as Dijon mustard and it works.
Fries- really crispy, really good and perfect for dipping in the sauces.
Tartar Sauce - no complaints.
Lobster Roll - just not my cup of tea, well done and full of lobster, just not highlighting the lobster flavor.
Garlic Shrimp Roll - FREAKING AMAZING, so surprised it was that good.
Clam Strips - you cannot go to a CLAM SHACK and not order clam. My wife loves the strips and especially loved these.
Okay, there is one complaint and that is the cost. Lunch for three, with beverages was $100. A bit much for the atmosphere.
My original review was on the old location, but you can read it below this update to the new location. It is not really new, I just have not been to this location before.
It is very close to the original location but this one has BETTER PARKING. Each location has inside and outside locations, most of the time I prefer to eat outside.
Counter service restaurant but service is strong so if you need something, raise your hand and someone will come by to help you. They are committed to customer service.
But you really want to know about the food, don't you?
(Good barbecue always starts with the sauce)
Pepper Vinegar - on the table for the collard greens, but works on fries too. Trust me.
Ghost Pepper Sauce - does not bowl you over with heat, but has a wonderful subtle flavor. Trust me, you want to try it.
Sweet Spot - normally this is my sauce, and they do it well, but it is not the star in my opinion.
Drizz - to me, this is the star of the show. Mustard based, with a sweet tang that is quite pleasant and perks up your taste buds.
Salad - green, fresh but eat only as a means to clean the way for more BBQ.
Beans - five beans soaked in Drizz sauce with pickled onions, I think they are FANTASTIC, but if you love traditional bank beans in heavy sauce, it is quite different.
Baked Potato - baked and covered in your choice of meat and one side. (I suggest you get the sour cream and cheese on the side as it gets messy.)
The Kings Sandwich - piled high, hard to eat without getting messy, but sometimes messy is good.
Brisket - here is the one dish that put them on the map. Brisket lean or brisket fatty, your choice but the flavor is incredible.
Love this location, nicer than the original but still has the soul of who they were when they were starting out. I really did not think I would like this upgrade as I have seen multiple restaurants expand and lose what made them special.
Not here, same good food, same great service.
I have been here three times and I keep looking for reasons to return. Maybe it's your birthday or you got a promotion or you had a baby or, well it's Tuesday. - whatever it is, hit me up and I will celebrate here with you.
The first time was after a Dr. appointment and I grabbed something to take back to the office. The next several times were with friends that I had to share the experience with.
While they have a varied menu, I stay within a pretty small menu range - either pulled park or lean brisket (they have categories: lean, fat or mixed). My favorite is the brisket and while you cannot go wrong with either one, your personal preference should prevail. Another favorite of mine is the baked beans. These are unlike any beans I have had before as it used three different kinds of beans and a light bbq broth instead of a heavy sticky sauce. While it at first took me back, it is really delicious.
Another must is the mason jars of banana pudding. I mean, even if I had a banana allergy I would risk a catatonic state for half a dozen bites of this creamy goodness. And while I know it is a Southern dish, it really is worth a try.
On my last visit, my daughter came to work with me and there was a table of police officers that were celebrating a birthday with several family size platters of food. So see what I mean, it is a place to celebrate.
