Seems it needs a bit of updating, but service was fine . One small issue was when they didn't have the wine we asked for they just decided to substitute it for a more recent year without telling us. We happened to notice it after it was opened and the waiter said they didn't have the year on the menu. Please inform the customer if you are making any substitutions please. I
Was hoping for lobster but unbeknownst to me
you need to order it a day before. Not sure what they can't keep one or 2 extra lobsters alive ? WhT do other restaurants do i wonder. Anyway, we used to visit regularly but it just seemed run down and after they didn't tell us about switching wines I was a bit disappointed. Food was good
      So no complaints there.

We happened upon the Cellar Door while walking close to downtown. We sat outside which was pleasant and when asked about the cheeses they served they were very not very knowledgeable which ones were available. And the price was a bit high for not knowing what cheeses were coming out. The flight of wine that we got was not what was on the menu. Instead , they substituted one particular one for a different one and that was the one we all were looking forward to. When asked about it, they just said they were out so they substituted it. Had we known, we would not have ordered it. It was not even close to
what it should have been. At least let us know what the wines are and we can decide if we want to order the flight. The food was fine, but very small "tapas" style . I won't return just on the basis of not informing us that the menu has changed and substituting a very nice wine with one that was barely drinkable.

We've been to Torsap twice. The first time it was great! Good service, food was amazing so we decided to take a family member there while visiting. The second time, about 2 months later , they didn't have most of the wines that were on the menu. And the waitress we had kept pushing a wine they had but not listed in the menu. When asked the price it was $$$$. We normally spend around 30-60. For a bottle but this was way above that. Also, the item I ordered was shrimp with lychee I believe. There were three Shrimps in the entire dish. Three!! The rest was lychee basically floating in a soup. So many items on the menu were not available and were not told until we tried to order. We would not go back there again, unfortunately it has gone downhill from our first great experience.

We've always wanted to relocate our furnace from the laundry room into the garage and since our 30 year old A/C unit stopped working we figured now was a good time. We knew it was going to be a big job , but Art met with us and explained it would be done in 3 days. The quote was about the same as a few other bids ( a bit lower) but they had such great suggestions as to where to relocate it very knowledgeable about all the equipment and the installation. The guys were done in three days , but what impressed me the most was how well they cleaned up after each day. They vacuumed each room so thoroughly including the furniture. They were all so friendly and stopped working if we had any questions. The ducts are now in the "attic" and no longer sitting under the house. We could not have asked for a better experience. If you need any HVAC work done, I would definitely recommend AIS. I

We needed to find a place to stay for 2 nights while our place was being fumigated for termites , and since Napa is an hour away we thought this this would be a great place. And it was ! I thought I had booked for the Meritage, but turned out we were in Vista Collina which is right across the street. The room was very clean , modern and large with a balcony on the first floor. We have a small 6 pound dog and often some hotels put you in "dog friendly rooms" and the rooms have a dog odor. This room had zero odor and was amazingly clean! I loved the room! I doubt there was ever another dog in there. The bed was so comfy and so quiet inside the room, even in the first floor. The rates are good for the room, the ground are very nice, and the staff everywhere were very friendly. Now for the negatives:
      1) I had no idea there was no housekeeping "due to Covid". I found out after we returned at 1 pm ready to head to the pool and then would want to take a shower after returning. I called the front desk and they said they would bring more towels to the room. After 3 hours of waiting, called again. Eventually they brought them. They did offer to drop of sheets and we could change the bed ourselves. I literally LAUGHED OUT LOUD" . We ran out of shampoo, body lotion and coffee for the coffee maker and since there was no housekeeping it was not replenished.
      2) there is a 50. Pet fee for the stay which includes a "pet package". We never received the pet package and when I called to request it, they brought it .... Eventually. Basically, if you need anything, go to the front desk yourself. Don't wait for them to bring you anything unless you don't need it ... for hours. And you may have to call twice .
      3) we went to the pool at the Vista Collina and it was packed with 12 children from the ages of 4 months to 13 years or so. ( just guessing). The ones that were approximately ages 5-9 were unsupervised and running around jumping and splashing. We could not go in the pool much since they basically brought all their floats, blow up rafts, pool rings, noodles, you name it, they brought it. I am wondering if they opened the pool to the city of Napa?? It basically looked like a water park. I didn't realize until later there is an adult pool at the Meritage where will will stay next time just for that reason. They should not allow outside rafts for sure. It was filled with too many "toys" to enjoy the pool.
      4) upon checkout , they were very kind to allow us to check out late .. at noon instead of 11, and when I mentioned that I was unaware of no housekeeping, the response was " it was in your "WELCOME PACKET". Well.... There was no welcome packet. The woman was extremely apologetic about no welcome package, and that we did not know there was no house keeping because of Covid unless you stay for 4 days. Personally, I would not stay there until daily housekeeping resumes and I would use the adult pool unless you enjoy being bombarded by rafts and jumping kids that have no adult supervision.
