Fantastic location - was very excited to get booked here during a business trip-- I was excited. Customer service was min , room was clean but not in good repair - tub scratched and rusted - is that a luggage rack ? no it's a table that no longer has a top. If you have a family or are going to a game with friends I'm sure it's a great place for a big night in the city. However as a business traveler with expectations - this hotel isnt it.

Dont think just because your in the middle of no where there will no wait. On Thursday morning average wait is 90 mins - so just plan accordingly. Put your name on the list and then go for a ride. PPP is true destination dining - and nothing like your likely to see anytime soon. It's the very best of a New England mountain breakfast. The pancakes in their many forms are the obvious stars - freshly made by your server. All food items that can be local are on the menu. Order the hobby horse cinnamon toast and don't skip the smoked ham

Yes no and maybe so... this is an older inn with a long history who is under new ownership as of last December. The Inn and it's 3 cabins are in a great location and 10 years ago I'm sure the property was in prime condition including the rooms. However today that is not the case. The furniture is old and the ware was starting to show which is consistent with the in as a whole. The new owners do no have a background in hospitality. It was the little touches that made the Inn - gas fireplaces, nespresso machines - our room had a small fire pit. The room and inn were clean but there was room for improvement. The restaurants food was actually quite good - slightly odd mix of Asian and traditional which was a bit jarring given the setting. We did enjoy each dish and the chef was kind enought to come to our table to check on us. Cost for value is an issue at the moment given the inns current situation. Over night stay approx 350 with 260 for dining package - Boston prices with a New Hampshire view. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Over all it was a bit different than we expected, but with such potential - we would like to return again if for nothing just for see whats changed.

Given the restaurant's location, provenance and reviews - I thought I had chosen wisely for a 4th of July pre fireworks dinner - I was let down by the mediocrity of the food, which was not consistent with the prices. Was the food bad? No. Was it good enough to remember what I had or to what to return? Nope. I hate to compare the food to that of something from a mall or Tuscan Kitchen type of place, but I feel this is an accurate description.
