I wish I had heeded the advice of a previous poster. The pb&j cookie is more like a soft biscuit. And as I chew, I can feel the grit of what I can only describe as an undercooked cookie. Similar to cookie dough. The thickness of the cookies is off putting, but even the chocolate sea salt is a mound of dough. Sadly it doesn't look like the warm, brown, thinner cookie that is pictured here on yelp. I'm going to put these in the oven, but I'm not even sure if that would fix this. If you like thick, almost cake like cookies, this may not bother you.
Arrived for a pickup order and was told the order wasn't ready, that they hadn't even started it but that it would take 20 minutes. They apologized and said they would give a $20 credit for the inconvenience (this would make the food already an hour past when I placed the order). 40 minutes later, the food was ready. Of course, no credit was issued. Grubhub couldn't refund because the order was placed through yelp. And then the restaurant closed. The food was good, for what that's worth, but the curry tasted like yellow gravy and the naan and roti were almost identical. If you're going to order, call them directly.

Hi Simone M.,
We appreciate your feedback! Grubhub & Yelp have an exclusive partnership that can lead to severe disruption, which in this case resulted in your meal being prolonged. Regarding your in-store credit, that is available until the end of this month. Stay vibrant & much love!
How is this a Vegetales a la Parilla? I literally received 2 pieces of each vegetable: 2 bell peppers, 2 onions, 2 mushrooms, and 2 eggplant. And they shorted me on the tomato! When I called to express my disappointment, I was told to complain to the app. $16 plus delivery fees for a sad set of cold vegetables underneath a sad salad(romaine, diced tomatoes and onions) and my fries getting soggy on top of the vegetables all in the same container. Poor packaging. Poor portions. Poor descriptions. And a poor excuse for customer service when I called. Don't waste your time ordering this item.
Update: thank you to Horacio for not only taking the time to review my order and offer clarity on why the dish wasn't to my expectations, but also processed a refund. The other dishes we ordered were great, and the follow up customer service was exactly what I was looking for when I called the first time. Although it doesn't change the let down of the dish, I will absolutely order from Lala's again.

Hello Simone,
I looked at your order and what you ordered is the Vegetales Al Plato, not the Vegetales a la Parilla.
And as you described, it comes with pieces of assorted vegetables, with 3 side orders(In your case, you requested only 2 side orders)
This item comes with only one piece of tomato.
If you would like more vegetables, I recommend you order the Brochette de Vegetables as it comes with 2 skewers of vegetables, instead of one. (and it's the same price!)
Sorry to hear that you were disappointed, and we hope you enjoyed the other items you received.
What in the world. $24 for a Postmates delivered impossible burger. Bun is cold. Shredded vegan cheese that's not even melted on the burger? You can throw a stick in LA and run up on a million versions of sliced vegan cheese. Shredded? And cold? And you forgot my drink. Worst. Ever.

I'm not sure why the quality of today's meal was so poor. I've ordered from here before and enjoyed the food. But the mushroom tacos had an odd sour flavor(not sure what they were going for and why it was so different), and didn't have the toppings listed on the menu online. The yam and wild rice taco lacked any flavor, and was missing raisins and sky's sauce. At least the potato and cheese taco had some flavor.

Dear Simone -
I can't speak to the Mushrooms (perhaps they got hit with Lemon Juice, a mistake that was made a few times in the first couple of weeks in July), but I can certainly agree about the toppings not being on-line. This Covid crisis has made the delivery service apps explode and getting even the smallest changes is a huge challenge. We began revamping the sites in late May, and the last few initial changes weren't fixed until last week! So I totally agree with you. If you are kind enough to order again, I suggest Postmates. So far they seem to be the better of them.
