      Butter experience. Rude staff.

      Staff was probably tired and unhappy. So either it's the staff's fault, or its the brach's fault for creating an environment like that. Either way this doesn't reflect well on this branch.

      Ice cream cookie sandwich was really good. Unfortunately the staff was unpleasant (teenagers who seemed annoyed and bored).

      They forgot to heat up the cookies despite me requesting it (their signs suggest requesting this, I wasn't trying to be difficult), but when the cookies were cold I didn't feel comfortable bringing it up due to the vibe.

      It's a shame that the staff tainted the experience in this way. Otherwise I would have made this one of my go-to spots.

      Me and my team were in town for a trade show for a few days, and we had breakfast here every day. I personally had a different dish each day, and they were all amazing.

      Now I'm back home, and I can no longer enjoy regular breakfast food because I got used to having the most delicious stuff at 8th Haus.

      My next door neighbor recommended this company for fireplace sweeping. I called and set up an appointment for the next day. Then when I saw the online reviews I became really concerned and requested to cancel.

      After I explained why I canceled, Lucas, the person who was scheduled to come do the cleaning, asked me to give him a chance, and I won't have to pay if no service is provided. To which I agreed.

      He came on time and gave a heads up before arriving. He also wore a mask before entering the house.

      He took a look at the chimney and explained what the process would be like. No upsell, just their regular cleaning was needed.

      He gave a heads up about the noise from the cleaning in case children in the house may be scared, and a few minutes later he was cleaning the chimney with a snake brush.

      After all was done, he addressed my initial concerns about the online reviews by saying that they had a few bad technicians who damaged their reputation, and they've since been fired, yet they're stuck with the bad reviews.

      Obviously only time will tell if they keep getting bad reviews, but I figured this was a good experience and it was worth mentioning that here.
