I am a long time Petsmart grooming salon customer. I visited this petsmart to have my dog's nails grinded. It was 93 degrees out and I also had to pick up some diapers for my 4 month old. When I dropped my dog off I politely asked the cashier Kelsey if it was possible to go to target during the nail trim since I was worried about leaving my dog in my car. She explained to me that normally this was not allowed but they would make an exception. She said that if they needed to they would put him in the kennel for a few minutes. I thanked her and went on my way. When I got back, groomer Carly rudely informed me that I should never have been allowed to do this and that in the future this would not be allowed again. The way she spoke to me was extremely disrespectful, almost as if I was being scolded. This was very distressing for me and I still am shocked it happened since Kelsey had told me it was okay. I was gone for 20 minutes and was doing my best to be fast. I would advise the store manager to teach Carly some customer servce skills and encourage better communication among the staff. I do not recommend this store and will not be going back.
