I was surprised by my experience as this shop comes so highly recommended. I am so disappointed with my experience. In my opinion, the staff was friendly but unclear with what work was going to be done on the car. I was very surprised by the bill and when I called to speak with the mechanic about it, he apologized for me not understanding him when we spoke. Not sorry for the confusion or the miscommunication, not saying, "oh hey, maybe I did misspeak" but he was basically sorry that I am not competent enough to understand what he was saying. So, a very expensive bill for a newer car. I would have felt better about the whole situation though, if that conversation was handled better. You always want to have trust and feel good about your mechanic and the work they do on your car, after that conversation, I did not. Needless to say, we won't be back.
If you have a European car, I HIGHLY recommend European Auto on Sagamore in Rye. Doug does great work and is fair and honest. If my new car was euro would have definitely gone there instead.
