Thank you Yelp for helping us find this little gem. Wonderful service, quality food and large portions. I couldn't finish the breakfast burrito it was so large. Props to the quality of the little side fruit salad, in house pico de gallo and hot sauce. It reminded me of my winter in Mexico. We Uber'd here the second day from downtown because the food was that good and much better than anything in town for the price so the cost of transportation cancelled out the value here!

The perfect post-Burn and post-beach meal for our group of four. We split a large half and half, and two salad bar plates (one trip, not the buffet). The salad bar options were great: beets, beans, cottage cheese, canned peaches! Crispy and doughy pizza with quality toppings, it was the perfect amount of food and we were hungry! The young staff was helpful in this family friendly local spot.

The Bombay Bomb Burger. Do it. The best veggie burger I've ever had. And the SAUCE!! I must get this recipe... This place is easy to miss, but the patio is something out of Europe. We went at lunch on a Saturday and it was really quiet, which boggles me as the food is fresh, unique but not crazy, spiced well and not overly saucy as some veggie joints. Our waiter Oscar was on his 3rd day and checked on us often. And the new owner, Martin, was funny, easy going and takes pride in the food. I noticed a few people coming in asking if they do take out, so I recommend you put a sign outside about that, and hire a nice chalk artist! I'll definitely eat here again on my next visit to SD!

We had a reservation at another agency online, but it didn't work out and I had to do a walk up booking on a busy weekend. After trying four dealers at the airport rental car center (which is an awesome concept btw, they even have free wi-fi), Payless was the only one with cars left. It was our first time with them and the agent was super friendly and joking, I wish I remembered his name. I was expecting an inflated rate, but they gave us a reduced rate which included insurance that was less than my original online booking! When I returned the car I showed them some deep scratches from bumping a high curb. I was worried I'd have to pay a few hundred, but the agent was super nice, had me sign a simple form and we were off! Best, most efficient, car rental experience, ever!
