      Massage Envy must do well generating new business, because i cant imagine anyone who has dealt with them would ever return as a customer. The South Park branch was always nice. The receptionists, the therapists, and the establishment was always top notch. I can't knock ME employees as they do their jobs and do them well. I do feel sorry for their employees who have to deal with pissed off customers as a result of ME's shady business practices though. The only reason i gave them 2 stars and not 1 was a direct reflection of the service and the staff, which was always excellent, and not the company itself.

      I would caution anyone who is interested in signing up for a ME membership to read the fine print and DON'T DO IT! Everything is all good when you first sign up. You use the massages, they auto draft the account monthly, and even when you miss a month you still have credits you paid for and can use. All normal good things. As time goes, we all get busy and you find yourself having less time to use your massages. I'm sure this happens constantly. I had 5 to 6 credits built up from where i was paying the monthly amount and not using them. This was agreed upon, no problem from me, i recognize i could have cancelled, and should have sooner, and been on my way. Except, about 3 months ago my card on file expired. Again, I'm sure this happens all the time. I was already on the fence about cancelling anyway as i wasn't using the service. They clearly had made their money on me. Thinking my card on file was expired, this was a good time to call and cancel. Of course, being a busy individual i didn't call for a few months. After speaking with the receptionist i was informed it is their Corporate Policy to suspend the account until the information is "updated" and then they can cancel the account. In short, they wanted 2 additional months payment to "update" the account. So i have 5 credits for 5 months worth of payments i haven't used, and all i want is to cancel the account and you want me to pay for 2 more months? Clearly its a service i am not using, why would i want to pay for 2 more months of a service i wont use? ME made their money on me and then some. Good luck thinking you just wont pay either. Search Google for "Massage Envy Collections" and look at all the fun numerous other customers had with this company. Its laughable.

      I take ownership that i didn't do my due diligence and read the fine print in Massage Envy's contract. I was extremely disappointed in this company and their practices though. Its really sad an established business that makes the money they do feels the need to create such a shady policy as to dupe its customers into paying more of their hard earned money for services they wont use. Where else do you pay consistently for services never rendered or have to pay for services you stated you wont use under the guise of an "update". I would never use ME again! Furthermore, i would go out of my way to encourage others to not use them. Save yourself the stress and hassle of dealing with a company who doesn't respect you as a customer as much as they see you as a bottom line dollar amount.
