We truly appreciate Attorney Shaffer and her excellent team!
A special shout out to Taline and all she has done. for us. I knew that Taline always had my back and supported me as we journeyed through the probate process, and resolving our brother's estate.

I worked as "an administrative assistant" for my husband, (he was the executor), and Taline truly eased my spirit as I've never done anything like this type of legal process. She always made herself available at the drop of a hat, to answer my questions and reassure me. I cannot believe we are almost near the end, and probate is closing!
We can't thank you all enough! You are our angels

If you ever have the need of a probate attorney, I highly recommend Shadi Shaffer, and her amazing team!

Tucked away in magical Calistoga, is the Inn on Pine, a humble yet utterly lovely place to abide for a romantic getaway or in my case, a gals get together to celebrate one of our birthdays. We always bring extra wine and gifts for each other just in case.
It's obvious that the owner, Val, is the kind of person who enjoys all that she does...and spreads the TLC around so that you leave feeling refreshed, nourished, and well taken care of...and it's the little delightful details that make each moment count. Upon arrival, there are fresh cookies, hot tea or coffee, and a fireplace on the patio/deck going up to the lobby. Colored lights hang above the rafters and cute café tables and chairs entice you to rest your travel weary feet. It feels like home away from home already and you have yet to sign in and meet your host!
In the room, a pot-bellied stove warms you, with a cute round table and chairs as part of the kitchenette with delectable chocolate truffles in a fancy package, added to the feel of the VIP treatment.
And, wonder of wonders, a REAL coffee pot and fridge!
The bathroom is pure luxury. Huge jacuzzi tub, huge fuzzy towels and robes, and a shower for when you return from the spa or sauna.
It's clear that you will get no better care than the Inn on Pine. But don't take my word for it. Make your reservation as soon as you can!

I agree with all of the recent reviews regarding this pharmacy. I too, would give it a minus star if I could...the new manager (not even sure if he is the manager) of the pharmacy actually told me that he "did not believe in science and doctors, and had a Phd in pharmaceutical" so would not release my medication to me for my seizures, that I have been prescribed for over 4 years now. I had to have my doctor call him twice to order it released, and in the meantime, since it was the weekend I ran out, had a seizure and used up my last bit of medication, so fought all day today to get my prescription filled. This used up valuable resources at my doctor's office, including the front office staff, the medical assistant, the doctor themselves, all of which could have been focused on other patients. I can only state here that Walgreens should be ashamed of itself for hiring such an incompetent pharmacist. He told me that the reason he was not releasing the seizure medication was because he "cared" about me. Really?! If you cared, then you would know that stopping a medication cold turkey is the worst thing you can do. Not to mention that having a seizure without the proper medication can cause a respiratory problem and even death. I am still shaking my head in shock at the poor treatment by this pharmacist who believes a PhD trumps an M.D. as well as years of following a patient with a unique seizure disorder such as myself. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and find another place to go for medication refills.

I just finished a lovely chat with realtor Teresa Lombardo of Agio Real Estate in Apple Valley, CA. She was efficient, informative, friendly and compassionate regarding the death of a family member, and our need for specific details of the area. The receptionist, Meghan, was also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be utilizing this business for future reference and highly recommend them!

There is no one more compassionate or loving when it comes to a vet for your furry friend! In 2019, we met Dr. Stephanie for the first time, as she assisted us in saying goodbye to our 13 year old, Shih Tzu, Rocco. A sad time, indeed, but with Dr. Stephanie there in our home to help us guide Rocco over to the Rainbow Bridge, we felt a sense of relief and peace that he was no longer in pain.
Flash forward to 2022, and our wonderful therapy doggie named Dharma was suddenly diagnosed with aggressive cancer. After speaking with the VCA oncologist, we knew the best decision for Dharma was to let her go, and make sure she no longer was suffering. We send an email to Dr. Stephanie, hoping that she would remember us, and be available to offer euthanasia in our home. She replied immediately, and with that same compassion and love as she had for Rocco.
Within a few weeks, we greeted her at our new place, and it was as if time and distance had never parted us. She was so sweet and gentle with Dharma, and it was love at 1st sight for our usually skittish young dog. We canNOT thank Dr. Stephanie enough for being with us that day! She is so special and we are forever grateful for our finding her so long ago. With much appreciation!!
