Poor coffee, poor service, not clean. It's funny because it had been about five years since I visited and nothing had changed. How do they stay in business?
Would be zero if possible. Went in to get a coffee but the bathroom was so disgusting I didn't even bother to do so. Please SHUT THIS GROSS PLACE DOWN.
I eat here all of the time and really love it. Service is fast and friendly and the restaurant and bathrooms are always clean.
I generally get the Kung Pao chicken special or some other chicken stir fry dish. I did order a breaded chicken dish once and didn't like it but those dishes aren't good anywhere. This is hands-down the best American Chinese place in town and certainly worth a try.
I ate here countless times and ordered most of the vegetarian pitas. I was always satisfied with the food when I ordered a veggie pita and rice. I didn't think the chicken was very good when I ordered it however. Overall, I guess it depends on what you order. However, prices are fair and service is great (friendly students). Would recommend for a quick bite if you are in a hurry.
Basically a totally unremarkable place that banks on its historic affiliation with Route 66. As a Chicago area native I am picky about hot dogs but these are terrible: the buns are flaky and cheap, the hot dogs are undercooked, and the condiments are cheap. The hamburgers are similarly bland. I understand the owners want to keep tradition but tastes have changed over the years. I will state one positive: the fries. The fries are excellent and leave me wanting something to go with them. I also can't complain about the service or the cleanliness but ultimately the food is just not tasty.
