Good doctor, horrific office.
My wife and I used Dr. Keller for over a year, and while we liked working with her as a doctor everything else to do with her practice is an absolute dumpster fire. Double-billing, every issue from appointments to refills requiring 3-4 phone calls, frequent "miscommunications," etc. I can say that nothing EVER got done by speaking with somebody just once.
I put up with this until today, when I was informed right before our appointment that the price had doubled (!) ... if I pre-paid for a year (!!!). if I didn't want to pre-pay it was almost 2.5x the price. There was a mention of a price change in an email a few days before my appt (after I had already done labs), but the description did not resemble what we had been doing and was so vauge that, in combination with their office's reliable tendency to not return calls, I didn't figure it out and didn't hassle it.
If your business is going to make a major change in how services are billed, an interesting idea (just a thought!) might be to send all of your customers a letter explaining the situation and clearly detailing the new pricing structure and then verifying it when setting new appointments. Telling me in a confusing manner with two-lines of an email containing some lab data a few days before the appointment is not a good look. Now I've got to deal with researching and finding a new doctor to fill my prescription that ran out two weeks ago, like I have time for that.
Like I said, I put up with the garbage until now. Springing a huge price increase at the last minute is the last straw. I'm done, and unfortunately I have to recommend avoiding this practice.
Doctors need to understand that part of caring for their patients involves caring about how they are dealt with on a business level, and Dr. Keller is apparently not even slightly interested in that aspect of medicine.
Used Vitalant a few times because Red Cross has been unavailable due to COVID. This location is s l o w. Showed up on-time for a 5:00 appointment. They took my temperature when checking in and it was fine. Had to wait 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment before they would see me, then they took my temperature with an electronic thermometer that showed a fairly high fever - high enough to where I should have been feeling very sick (I was fine) - and refused the donation. Went home and checked with three thermometers and they all showed normal. So they wasted 45 minutes of time and then sent me home with a false positive for high fever.
This place sucks.
Won't stop sending me spam. I hate companies like this.

Hi Eric,
Sorry you feel that way, we only average two a month - one for Sales and one for Service, which by today's standards is low compared to most companies. They are Savings Offers so many of our clients utilize them. We suggest clicking the "unsubscribe" link to be removed from the list - problem solved!
We just bought a home here, and while the home is great the trash bins were freaking toxic cesspools from the depths of trash hell. Our real estate agent (hi Kendra!) was like "No problem, I'll hook you up with Wash-a-bin!" They came out and cleaned the heck out of those cans. I'm pretty sure you could eat of them and / or perform outpatient surgery inside one. Well, maybe not that clean. But pretty freaking clean. With the summertime temperatures out here and our being required to keep the cans in our garage, I'm sure we'll be using Wash-a-Bin regularly. Cool service!
I came to see Dr. Torchinsky as a new patient suffering from vertigo. Dr. Torchinsky was exceptionally nice, very professional and quite thorough in his diagnosis and explanation of my condition. He also had some of the best follow-up I've experienced with a specialist. Absolutely a joy to work with, and a doctor who is deeply knowledgeable, genuinely cares about his patients, and does his best to take care of them. Wholeheartedly recommended.
