Hello peeps! I hardly get around to leaving Yelp reviews on the count of how Yelp has no effective repercussions for people that leave false bad reviews but since Jarrod is a victim of this I am here. Coco or Emiliano Zapata is not a nice person. Neither is John R. Obviously fake and/or the person has no integrity to be authentic in his review with his own identity. Jarrod is a close friend of mine, although I have not purchased a home with him as the realtor(only because I have not purchased a home in the 13 years) I know Jarrod's character. We have been friends for 10+ years.
When you come to his home, he gives you nothing but the best. He treats you like family and never hesitates to offer his home for an overnight stay if you need it. If this is the person he is at home I have not doubt it translates to his clients. I receive helpful emails and letters from him every month regarding Real Estate and all that keeps me educated with both maintaining my home and being aware of what is going on in the real estate market. Very important information especially in the real estate market of the southland. This review is on Jarrod's character. He will work hard for you and will be diligent in his efforts to get you a fair deal and he makes sure to cross all his T's and dot all his I's. If something goes wrong, I know few will go to the lengths he will to make it right. Shame on you Coco and John R for hurting someone's ability to make a living and shame on Yelp for making it difficult for a business owner to dispute these.

Those are kind words Alvaro! Thank you so much. You're a pretty amazing Farmer's Insurance agent and friend also!

This place is always short staffed. There are 22 people in line and only 2 tellers. If it wasn't that my parents had this HELOC here I would much rather go to wells Fargo across the street. On many occasions all the tellers are open. If you don't have too, don't bank or open an account here.

24 people in line and only 2 tellers....

Armando and his team have been working on my old cars for 3 years now. Always just fixes what's needed and asks you if you want other things done(if needed) at discounted prices since he has the car apart. Most other shops charge for work done based on what the ASE book recommends for a job, he charges for the ACTUAL hours worked. He is super reasonable and always tries to accommodate your budget and your time.

      Updated review

Update. Quality of food isn't on par with prices any more. Still good but $14 for a rotisserie chicken with veggies and rice is unreasonable now. Will look around for a go to Hong Kong Cafe.

I expected more from US officials. That being said do not expect much protection or service from these officers. The communication between them is horrendous and no one knows how to handle tasks efficiently. No wonder the line takes forever. So here is the deal: My car broke down in the line waiting to cross. We pushed the car across the border to leave it in front of the border office per the port of entry officer. Another officer comes out and says I have to move the car about 10 feet down so I can be in front of the gate when the tow truck arrives(reasonable), then another officer comes and says I have to move back because I am in front of the gate.....So obviously everyone here is autonomous(or wants to be sheriff for 5 minutes) and are not communicating with each other(very unsecure way of running a border checkpoint). Then we are trying to get signal to call so we have to walk around to get signal....they don't like that. I guess that is obvious to us but if we can't get signal we can't get a tow truck. Nobody thinks there, they just keep repeating like robots, "get back in your car". They should have allowed us to use their phones then to make that call so we can get out of their way as quickly as possible. There is no plan for when a car breaks down. Unbelievable to me that they do not have a contingency plan for this. I am sure it happens all the time especially since cars have to sit there upwards of 3 hours waiting for them to figure out if they're going to let someone thru after they already checked passports. Once the tow truck gets there the officer at the gate doesnt know how to let him in. So he tells the driver that he has to go thru the border and then come back and wait in line to get through.... #idiot. I see him, so I go running to tell him that the truck is here to tow me an we are waiting at the gate so he can tow me. Another officer tells me we will take care of it and that he will tell the gate officer to let him in. Guess what? That didn't happen. So the driver goes to cross the border and speaks to the officer at the gate about what has happened and they go back and forth a little until it seems that the officer feels embarrassed about how ridiculous the whole thing is and lets him through across the middle divider of outgoing traffic so he can tow me. Whoever the leadership is at this border needs to be replaced/retrained. They have no business running this place as they are severely incompetent. Please someone read this and fix this issue that is so simple. Create a plan to get cars taken care of as soon as possible when they break down. It is both both an efficiency and safety issue. I hope its the new management that makes the decision because the current management will probably just have the car stay on the Mexican side so they don't have to deal with it. So sad that our officers aren't trained professionally to handle the public with grace. What was demonstrated was a complete lack of training and planning. Fix it!
