Quaint winery in picturesque Middletown. Hospitable owners who advised wine attributes and nuances. Interesting logo as the owner commented on the background and meaning. It was a shame it was so windy as it would have been nice to be outside on the terrace to take in the views. Try the 2019 or 2021 Tannant, perfect for Thanksgiving-Garry, Mic and their dogs eagerly await telling you about their wines, of which many are in downtown restaurants and/or used for weddings.

I come here every year for my birthday, receiving a discount coupon as a member. This year the vibe was a little different; water neglected, no bread. I ask if sauce was spicy on steak tacos I was advised the 3 appetizers were not spicy. Unfortunately, I started getting heartburn and ask for a napkin to dab off, and then they were fine. The manager noted my concern and came to the rescue complete my favorite creme brûlée' strawberry cheesecake with candle and a card signed by everyone. Thanks for once again making my day special.

Love the farm freshness of this quaint restaurant in New Market. I missed brunch at New Years and vowed Id come back to try under new Management. I was in the mood for a salad, given its after the Holidays. I was given a water while viewing menus. I love the water here, fresh well water. I then had a 'gettin figgy' made with fig vodka...uummmm not bad. Torn between crab cakes or grits, I ordered the Cajun shrimp grits.The shrimp were huge, the grits were as it said spicy. I preferred the way they used to do grits. I wasn't going to have dessert, the vanilla creme brûlée' was awesome.
Be mindful they Take $3.00 off for service staff. I had a coupon for 10% off (also one for crab dip but expired) They no longer do a birthday treat- that was a Mealeys thing- miss them but this is good in a different way.
