We couldn't be more pleased using California Window Fashions for window treatments in our home! We selected Hunter Douglas NewStyle Composite shutters for the large picture windows in the Foyer. Yvonne, our consultant, had really great ideas. For example, rather than 3 1/2" louvers with tilt bars, she suggested that we go with 4 1/2" louvers with hidden tilt bars and place the divides below eye level to allow a better view of the beautiful poolside setting in the back! We were pleasantly surprised that the window treatments were ready for installation in half the time that we were initially quoted! Scott and James were unbelievingly fast in assembling and installing the shutters and duets without compromising attention to detail! It's quite apparent they are very adept and take great pride in their work. They even went above and beyond during the installation!

Grant, the shutters look gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing about your great experience with our team! We appreciate your business!
One of the drawers to the vanity in the master bathroom needed to be repaired as the stile on the left side had broken off. Based on great reviews on Yelp, I left a text message with a few photos of the damaged drawer. The next morning I received a detailed response from Russell describing what the repair of the drawer entailed and the estimated cost to repair it. Russell stopped by the house the following morning to take the drawer back to his shop. Within a few days he called to tell me that the repair was completed and he would drop it off later that morning. I couldn't believe what a beautiful repair job he had done, as there is no indication that the drawer had been damaged (he also cleaned up some scratches with stain that matched the finish!) The bill for the repair was very reasonable. Russell was very professional and friendly and I would highly recommend him for any cabinetry work!
Shopping around for another insurer for my home and auto, I contacted Steve Hom Insurance Services, as the reviews on Yelp were quite favorable. I'm glad I did! Not only did Steve beat the rates on my existing bundled insurance policies, but also gave me better coverage with the new insurance company. He brought to my attention that dwelling replacement cost with the new provider would be 200% vs only 130% through my existing provider! Steve is very knowledgeable when it comes to insurance needs and both he and his assistant, Carrie, have been very responsive and helpful during the process of switching carriers!
David's crew did a great job removing a large branch from a Monterey pine tree in the backyard which had snapped due to gusty winds. His guys were able to lower the branch down by rope without disturbing the plants, fountain, or landscape light fixtures located directly below! They were also able to remove several dead snags in the pine and an oak tree. Unbelievable how these guys were able to maneuver in the most precarious locations up in these trees! All this at a very reasonable price! I'll definitely be calling David for any tree work when the need arises!
I had asked Patrick to inspect the crawlspace of my home for mold as another company had recently inspected it and told me that there was a need to remove all of the insulation between the floor joists and treat all of the wood to get rid of the mold. Since the estimate I was given was very expensive, I felt I needed a second opinion so I contacted Patrick, the owner of "The Mold Warriors". After inspecting the mold, Patrick told me that it was black mold which is not a health risk and had probably occurred during the construction of the home as a result of wet lumber. Patrick told me to save my money and clean it up myself. He even suggested that I purchase a product called "Mold & Mildew Removal" made by ZEP. I really appreciated Patrick's honesty and unwillingness to take advantage of me for a quick buck, like so many unscrupulous businesses out there would!

Grant, thank you so very much for the time you took to express the integrity that we take very serious and good luck with the wood mold, sometimes in life we are in such a hurry to build houses and make money that they build houses with green lumber and the mold that appears black is actually wood mold and is not dangerous and as I explained to you it is readily cleaned with a sprayer and a inexpensive cleaner. it does have a strong bleach smell but I would think that in your crawlspace that this would be tolerable. Thanks again for your dynamite review it is appreciated
