Dr. Greer is fantastic! The support staff here are a nightmare! Complete lack of standardized processes and treatment protocols. Dr. Greer's staff has very high turnover (every two weeks) are untrained, have poor customer service skills, minimal cross training and are generally very unpleasant. I received months of treatment here...every time just getting everyone on the same page or even getting something scheduled was a huge time consuming nightmare. Very challenging each step of the way to even get everyone on the same page with what is supposed to happen. The processes and protocol that do exist have absolutely zero mindset about a positive patient experience or any patient experience at all. They do care about pushing as many people through as they can for the high dollar procedures regardless if they have a plan to support it or not (be ready for long wait times). The insurance company is God here. This place is a "cattle call" and a money grab and that's how they make you feel. Quite a shame because Dr. Greer is very good at the thermal ablation procedures. This was not a one time bad, pissed off customer review. This review is based off of frequently repeated missteps over several months of treatment protocols. Regardless of the step in the protocol, it was always a horrible and time consuming nightmare. Don't bother with running in circles with their corporate office either. If you get treated here, they will design your protocol so you have to come back as many times as possible vs. fitting pieces of the treatment into the same appointments. I'm guessing once again, that this is so they can bill insurance as much as possible. Don't walk...sprint far from this dive!

Tegan; we greatly appreciate your feedback and are very sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with Vein Clinics of America. We'd really like to better understand the situation and learn how we can improve your experience. As a patient-centric organization dedicated to delivering world-class vein treatment we not only take any comments surrounding the way in which you are treated throughout your treatment protocol within the clinic very seriously as you have outlined but, above all else, the health of every patient we come into contact with is our utmost priority. The goal of Vein Clinics of America is to ultimately identify and address underlying conditions resulting from vein disease. Treating vein disease is very seldom a "one-and-done" procedure, and every patient is unique and different. So, depending on someone's personal condition, there might be a wide range or average number of vein treatments needed after getting an estimate from a Vein Clinics of America network vein specialist. That said, we are dedicated to scheduling patients in a timely fashion based on their treatment protocol and doing so in a timely, efficient manner.
We also work hard to hire individuals who are polite, professional, compassionate, informative, and, most importantly, focused on putting the patient first and apologize for any issue surrounding any perceived missteps in your wellness journey with us.
Would you be willing to share your email address or phone number with us via a direct message or email (VCACares@veinclinics.net) so we can contact you to learn more? Thank you again for your feedback. We consider every review and every piece of feedback a gift as it allows us to better understand your personal experience and where we might improve. We do hope to hear back from you so that we have an opportunity to bring this dissatisfactory experience to a much better place for you and hope you continue treatment with Vein Clinics of America.
Don't bother coming here. Since being acquired by Piedmont these guys have issues galore. I have been asked to fill out new piedmont paperwork twice since their acquisition in the last 6 months. The receptionist that has been here is not only rude and incompetent, but is socially awkward and stares blankly. Today they finally have a new one so maybe they finally realized she was a problem. The dr's are actually good. 3 times out of 3 times they have screwed up the prescription call-in, which has now wasted me a total of 4 extra hours in total. Today (after screwing up yet another prescription) I got to listen to their nurse talk to the pharmacist about me in a negative fashion because I had had to call her three times in the last hour until she got it right. Oopsie, I don't suppose she expected the phone to be on "speaker mode". Horrible customer experience all the way around several times now which is unfortunate because the Dr's. are good. We will be taking our family of six elsewhere forward which they likely won't even realize because they have completely lost all of our medical records twice now. Now if only I could get myself off of the thousands of automated junk emails they seem to have signed me up for that provide no value whatsoever! Ughh. Save yourself a lot of time and unnecessary aggravation and go somewhere else.
