Slow, bad service. App said there was no wait. Made an appointment on the app 30 minutes in advance, arrived 10 minutes early, and found a 40-minute wait time. Staff simply didn't update or even check the computer.

New walk-ins got priority. Waited over 40 minutes.

After all that, the haircut was awful. Stylist was pleasant but didn't follow requests and the cut was too short.

      Disappointing. Will not return.

Food: consistently high-quality, delicious, attractive. It's always cooked to order from fresh ingredients.

Service is friendly and staff is attentive. Our third visit, we were greeted as regulars. Our daughter has autism, and they were gracious and accommodating of our request to quietly bring in a small outside meal for her.

Dining area is charming and clean, but small. You will hear other diners' conversations, and they will hear yours.

Other than the small inside dining room, there's literally nothing to complain about. Excellent experience. We hope to come back to this family-owned and run restaurant for many years to

      Delicious? Check.
      Healthy? Check.
      Ethically sourced? Check.
      Friendly? Check.
      Affordable? Check.

Nana's has great food, a sensitive staff, a fantastic location, and maintains a good relationship with the community. Music and atmosphere are relaxed. They even deliver.

Caveats: The parking situation is tricky, which is true of the Village of Westbury in general. The space is a little small.

Overall: the pluses obliterate the negatives, which are beyond the control of ownership. Been ordering online and dining in for several years, and never been disappointed. Five stars.

The food is of consistent high quality, well prepared and made from authentic ingredients.

My partner and I were surprised and grateful at how accommodating the staff is for my daughter, who has autism. She is notoriously picky about her food and can be vocal, but they have provided such a pleasant and consistent experience that not only does she enjoy eating at Diwan, she REQUESTS it.

Five stars and many thanks. Highly recommended!

Wow. I am in tears. We felt like this restaurant (Spice Lounge in Hicksville, formerly Delhi 6) was family. But no more.
We've been loyal customers of this restaurant for over three years, ordering or eating there in person since it was called Delhi 6. When they closed for several weeks due to a plumbing issue two years ago, we stopped by to make sure everyone was okay. Every time I picked up food there, they gave me coupons because my p a rtner and I were good and loyal customers who regularly brought our friends and family to the restaurant. We even chose this restaurant for our Thanksgiving meal last year.
This week, Spice Lounge has twice given us terrible service. Tonight, we ordered via Grubhub (as usual), but 90 minutes later, the food hadn't arrived. I called, and they promised ten minutes. Half an hour later, I called the restaurant, wanting to resolve the matter without using Grubhub. The person who answered was belligerent. I asked for a refund. They told me to deal with Grubhub if I wanted my money back. I called Grubhub. GH spoke to the restaurant, then came back to me, apologizing. GH said the food would arrive in ten minutes (already well over two hours since we placed the order). It arrived eight minutes later--and the dish we requested as "mild" was so spicy that we choked on it. I called the restaurant again, and again was treated disrespectfully. "So call Grubhub! We don't want to speak to you!" I called GH, who explained the money had already been transferred to Spice Lounge. They called Spice while I was on hold, and sheepishly returned to the line, reporting that the restaurant demanded I drive the food back to them so they could taste it. GH claimed they had never encountered that kind of response from a restaurant before.
We are out $50 and have resorted to eating canned soup for dinner.
We will never order from Spice Lounge again. Save yourself the trouble and find another Indian restaurant in Hicksville if you're craving Indian. There's plenty of other great Indian restaurants in Hicksville.
