      Not sad to see this place go. It was weird from the moment they opened. I don't drink beer, but I get tickled at "religious based stores" who won't sell it. I really don't understand the philosophy. But whatever... if you want to shun customers with your high-brow attitude and lose out on profits (not to mention go out of business), that's up to you! Hopefully a GOOD store will replace this place. Very convenient for those of us that live out this way. Likewise, I will NOT step foot in a d@mn Wally-World. I'd rather pay a little more for the convenience of shopping close to home, as well as support a local 'non-weird' company.

      Sure miss the days when there was an IGA at 15th and Post (of course, that was on the SE corner back then!). Showing my age here.... ugh...

      Our absolute favorite place to eat on the island!! My wife and I eat here numerous times every time we visit the island! We've tried most of what is on their menu, and everything has been fabulous. We always recommend it to other travelers, and they always thank us and rave about how good it is. Felipe and Margarita are 2 of our favorite people on the island. They always make us feel right at home. We always go sailing with Felipe as well, and it is very enjoyable. We 100% recommend the food, drinks, and the sunset cruise on the yacht. For a bit of a twist, try the Sunset Long Island Tea. It's delicious! It's not on the menu, so you'll have to ask for it ;)

      We usually eat here several times during our vacation. So last night was our first trip to Angelo on this vacation. My wife and I both ordered the Angus ribeyes, medium well. They brought the food out to us and the steaks were rare. We told them we ordered medium well, so they took them back. They were gone a few minutes, and brought the steaks back to us. Once again, the meat was rare. I know some people like their steaks that way, but we don't. It actually turns my stomach. So after the 2nd failure, I wasn't mad, but I no longer had an appetite and neither did my wife. Having blood all over our plates just doesn't do it for us.

      The waiter said he'd take them back AGAIN. I was like "no, you tried twice, and both times the steaks were rare, we are done. " I also told him he'd better not charge us for non- edible food, and asked for the check. He brought us the check, and charged us for the steaks we couldn't eat. I started arguing with him, and asked to see a manager. He refused, and told us we were paying for the food whether it was edible or not. He also stated he could just keep taking it back to the grille. No sir, you clearly don't know the difference between rare and medium well, and I shouldn't have to send my food back 20 times for you to try and get it right. The fact you and your cooks don't know what you're doing isn't MY fault.

      So, we are done with Angelo, and after this experience, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. We're here on the island for 11 more days, but we will not be going back now, our EVER. So long Angelo! There's too many good places on the island to eat to put up with your staff's incompetence

      This place is always clean, and does a lot of business, but their staff is about as unfriendly as you could ask them to be. They ignore customers, won't look at you at the counter, won't speak, and stand there chatting amongst one another whilst they ignore you. The people working this place have definitely NOT found their calling; customer service is about being friendly to the customers! Maybe these people should take nighttime janitorial positions or something where they don't have to deal with the public. One thing is for sure, whoever the manager is at this location, they need to train their employees better, especially in the art of dealing with customers. The regional manager needs to "clean house" at this location, and replace their staff (including the manager since they don't seem to be properly training and monitoring their employees).
