I started on my journey of finding a company that could do a deep clean to a 600sq ft place that hasn't been lived in about 20 years and had cobwebs and dust covering just about everything. It was a spider fest. I even found a praying mantis. Anyways, yelp did its thing and sent out my project request to a handful of local cleaning companies. I did have a few specific cleaning needs, so I knew it would be a little difficult to find someone who could do a customized firm quote instead of the hourly price, as I knew this was a really big and specialized job. It would take a lot of patience to clean and also honesty that the job could actually be done. 

I had a few companies respond and give me the run around and some companies that just seemed super sketchy. Then came Lyly's Cleaning Company's response to my project inquiry. She was super sweet, straight to the point and absolutely no BS. 

I was a little worried about the lack of reviews, but every business had to start somewhere. Many great businesses are based on referrals in person, and this is one of them. Plus, they are Yelp Guaranteed. With Lyly's service and response as well as her customizing the service to my cleaning needs, I decided to give the company a go. 

I chose the firm quote, versus the regular hourly and the deep clean hourly price and we scheduled a free estimate for her to come and do a walk through of what needed to be cleaned. I loved that! She was able to fit me in for the estimate just a couple days later. 

 I had special deep cleaning needs such as windows and screens inside and out needing deep cleaning, sliding glass doors cleaning, all walls, ceilings and every surface, 2  balconies, and a lot of other small things I needed to be done that were super specific. Most companies don't do windows at all and I also found that most companies don't do walls or ceilings! Lyly's does it all.

I have not another company on Yelp other than Lyly's that could meet all the cleaning needs. I can't explain how grateful and happy I was when everything with the cleaning company fell into place. 

The day of, Lyly and her daughter showed up with all of their equipment and products and got right to it. My cleaning did end up taking a little longer than expected, but they stuck to their quoted price. 

Doing the walk through once they were done, the place smelled absolutely amazing on the first step in. The floors, the walls, all fixtures and surfaces and everything in between were absolutely deep, cleaned and left in beautiful shape. I couldn't believe how dirty the place actually was before they came in comparison to how it looks now. All the window seals and sliding glass door tracks were nice and clean. They even let me know that there was a leak under the sink that I had no idea about. 

They were able to do everything they said they could do and meet all of my needs beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Lyly's Family cleaning company for absolutely any of your cleaning needs. Small jobs, move out and move in cleanings, deep cleanings, weekly cleanings, I trust they would meet all of your needs as well. 

I will be having them back bi monthly just to keep everything on track with the cleaning, and continue to recommend them out to any family and friends who need any type of cleaning. 

I have to thank Yelp for connecting me with their company when using Yelp projects to find a cleaning service. So happy I found them!

Amazing food and service. We got a little of everything and enjoyed every bit of it. Fast service and great customer service. Elena, our server, was such a doll. Highly recommend this location.

My Mama and I shopped around for a balloon delivery service for a good week. After quite a few quotes and comparisons, we were so thankful we went with Balloon Guru.

They knew what they were doing and were so professional. They walked her through the order until she was satisfied and ready to proceed and BAM made it happen.

They have such a wide selection and can make your ideas come to life. Or, you can have no idea and just know what colors you want and let them do their magic.

The delivery was prompt and they were so helpful. They even went the extra step to help us piggy curl the bottom of the balloons. Especially after noting that I actually have a balloon phobia lol.

They set up so fast and were so professional. I will definitely be recommending them to anybody I hear needing of balloon services in San Diego. Definitely our new go-to vendor for any of our parties and celebrations.

They definitely create the type of service that can take your party to the level of celebration. There is quite a big difference visually.

Wasn't able to eat all day yesterday so I was starving by 8:30pm. Honestly, I'm not a picky eater, and yesterday I would have said I was down for anything as far as food. From 7-Eleven pizza to an elegant steak dinner lol. I was ready. I would have taken a handful of corn nuts to an elegant seafood buffet. Lol. Or literally anything in between.

Have been craving amazing honey walnut shrimp and some salt and pepper chicken wings. I've had these from so many places. Every place does make them a little bit different, but always tasty and memorable. Always hits the spot.

Yesterday, that changed lol. Big freakn time. Not only was the taste off and a complete lack of flavor, but some of the chicken wings are also just odd parts and very minimal. And do I dare mention lol... I do dare so you can prepare yourself if you choose to indulge here...that I have been in and out of the bathroom all day!!! I'm like when will it end?!?

Anyways, down to the food talk. My honey walnut shrimp. It was $19.99 for a dinner portion, which was a great size and would say the right amount of shrimp and the right price. This plate is never cheap from anywhere, but is always worth it. Until yesterday. On the first taste, I was hoping I was wrong. The only flavor I could taste was the plain flavor of the thin breading type mix that is lightly battered over the shrimp that had melted into the creamy consistency tasteless sauce. There was no sweetness. There was no savory. There was no Oh this shit is hella good. There was no Oh this is okay, just ok, but I'm hungry and I'll still eat it. There was literally nothing. Even the honey walnuts didn't add anything to the flavor or the mix or makeup for the lack of flavor over the shrimp. There was probably about 30-40 shrimp In the dish but I threw it out after about 10. When it's your cheat meal, you know it's pretty bad when it's not even worth the calories and you toss it.

The chicken wings for price that I believe $10.99. I'm down to pay that for some really good wings. I received eight mini thighs and legs, and one circle lol. I was too scared to see what was inside the circle so I did not indulge. I thought maybe it would be filled with jelly or something but I wasn't ready for a surprise. The chicken wings tasted like the oil needed to be changed in the fryer. All I could taste was the fryer. usually they put some good seasoning or garlic and red pepper flakes and green onions that kind of lay over it and you can scoop it up with the wings, but as you see in the pictures I posted there was little to nothing on top of them. The jalapenos were a spicy surprise which I didn't mind. But I could also still see some of the feathers on the wings and then I got grossed out and had to toss them after two pieces. GAG!

Needless to say, I should have actually listened to the low rating on the reviews. Also, portion sizes are off, the taste is completely lacking, and I've been sick to my stomach all (next) day from it. I've never had such tasteless food in my life. except when I was on one of those diets where you couldn't have salt or literally anything except for air lol.

They say to give places multiple chances, but I think that should only be in cases where the service was off. I say that because you never know what someone is going through an unfortunately sometimes personal life is brought into work and may affect service. Our perspective that day may also affect service in our eyes. Yet if the food is completely tasteless and you ordered two completely different things on the menu AND had a tummy ache all day after, then it's safe to say try different shop next time!
