Interesting, out of the ordinary, DC historic place of interest. Burial site of Sousa, J. Edgar Hoover, Marion Barry, Herbert Clarke (trumpet players will know this cat), Matthew Brady and more. Lacking five stars as the gravesites are hard to find, the numbering system is non-existent.

I am writing this review to mainly remind myself to stop trying this place. It always seems to be so promising, but the past several times I've been, I have to say it's disappointing.

Today was the last straw, I was in the mood for a good breakfast and selected the $17 Corned Beef Hashed Benedict. Somehow, forgetting how much this deli has gone down hill. Starting from the bottom up; the potato latkes were too salty, greasy, burnt tasting and in some spots to hard to chew; next the corn beef (which should be a specialty of this shop) was dry, crumbly, tasteless and seemed reheated; the two poached eggs were cold and cooked hard throughout: and the Benedict sauce tasted like it came out of a can.

I should of sent it back, but felt sorry for this old favorite hang. Not much business in there.

I am sorry to have to write such a negative review. I really hope for this independent deli - the best.

I ordered Pad See Euu and spring rolls, utilizing DoorDash. I ate about a third of the Pad See Euu before throwing it out. Bland, days old taste. I ordered it with mixed vegetables, which were non-existent if not for the random cut carrot or piece of cabbage. I did identify one half cut green bean. Oh, the hair in the food did me in. They had closed by the time I had a chance to call and complain. The spring rolls were acceptable.

DoorDash service was quick and efficient.

Ted's breakfast has been on my list for a long time. Finally made it this morning, and I am completely underwhelmed. $18 for two poached eggs, a one-eighth slice of an unripened avocado a big slab of toast, a small half first size of microgreen, raw thin slices of fatty ham, coffee, and some cold green sauce. I sent back the first order because the eggs were cold. The replacement was warm but microwaved. Servers are overwhelmed, and management should give them more support.

I doubt I'll be back any time soon. Disappointed!

Wow! What a disappointment. So much hype and such dull food and service.

Serving sizes were skimpy, pinto beans and rice was cold and pork had a lot of sugar in it. The taco shell was good and the chicken breast was good.

Chipotle is much better. I'll skip this place next time.
