I've been working out at FT Concord three times a week for nearly 7 years. I was a bit skeptical when I started, but the results were convincing after 4 months or so. I'm 66 years old and have hypermobile joints and assorted aches and pains. My workouts with Johnny are completely tailored to my ability and health, always challenging, but recognizing that I have limitations.

Early on, I learned to not skip an appointment due to an ache. Instead, tell the trainer, and you'll start off with something that addresses the specific ache. Or, I can go in with aches, and leave feeling well and energized. Now when I'm in a group, I feel like the strongest, most flexible woman my age (and younger) there!

The studio is plain with the most minimal machines. There are a lot of odd workout devices though in addition to freeweights etc. The shared space has cardio equipment with TVs. 95% of the success of the program though is due to the personable trainers' expertise, creativity, and encouragement.
