I have been seeing Chelsea for the better part of 10 years now. I follow her wherever she goes because she is beyond worth the effort to follow
Chelsea is always down to make suggestions, collaborate and go as wild or as tame as you like.
I have sat in her chair and chopped a very long ponytail off and I have gone from blond, to rose gold, to storm cloud gray and blue. She is second to none with her coloring skills. I always know I will feel like a work of art.
Today I left the salon and the first place I stopped every person I walked past complimented my hair. There were 4 people total... 4 for 4 on the hair compliments. This is pretty normal though and it feels good!
When I sit down in her chair I know a few things for sure:
1. I will have gorgeous hair
2. I will have a great time
3. I will be listened to and cared for
4. I will look forward to my next appointment
Her new suite at Sola salons has great vibes and it feels very comfortable.
If you are looking for an extremely talented hair magician that will be a blast to interact with, Chelsea is your person!!
Took a walk to have this place on a warm Tuesday evening. It was pretty darn busy which was a great sign. They have ample seating inside and out. The server was friendly and offered great suggestions. We ended up with Nachos to start with no meat and The Bulls Pride sandwich. The nachos were pretty standard. They weren't layered with the toppings which means you have plain chips sitting sadly on the bottom of the heap. The serving was ample for the price. The sando was the star though it was super tasty with the creamy horseradish. The tots were crispy and delicious dipped in chipotle ranch. The service was slow but the food was worth the wait on things.
An unfortunate day off with a flat. My Kia Sportage has no spare, blah. We have always used America's Tire bc of the certs on the tires, good communication and locations. Today I called them up to explain that the tow truck would be arriving with my Pearl aboard. The service person, Shaun got me all set up in the queue and was super friendly for a holiday weekend. It just helped a crap situation to talk with someone who was helpful and understanding. I was added to the queue and could check it from home via the link in the text. Sam called to explain that it couldn't be fixed and was helpful and provided options and suggestions based on my price range and wear on the other tires. I always have good service here but today really helped me through a tough day.
Shout out to Shaun and Sam and the American's Tire crew, thanks for making it so easy today :)

I am always a supporter of folks who stand up and support others. This woman owned kitchen stands for pro-choice, black lives matter, LGBTQIA+, Trans folkx, and being a good human. There should be more safe and accepting places like this! Rock on!

Just got done with my first appointment at Dr. Lorence's office and I am super happy to say that I've found a new dentist! Everyone was so kind. The front desk Suzanne?? was welcoming and complimented my paperwork prowess. Ursula took the x-rays and chatted along the way making me feel calm. And, Dr. Lorence was gentle, calm and friendly. My old dentist had stopped giving me a toothbrush and toothpaste but they gave me one here... It's the little things!! I felt the same comfort that I felt as a kid at my dentist, whom I saw for 20 years... That's saying something!
