An ever rotating menu of roughly 12-14 craft brews keeps me returning regularly to this comfortable, clean spot smack in the midst of Newton Plaza. They usually have a cider or two as well as a limited cocktail selection for the non beer drinkers, and you can carry out cans or crowlers. There's a so so menu of limited food accompaniments to slow down the absorption for those who are so inclined.
Decent coffee marred by balky slow WiFi can be had at this quaint stream side spot in the village of Manchester. Decent menu of food selections for breakfast or lunch but can get a bit harried and confusing during peaks.

Hi Steven, I'll pass on your feedback about the wifi and rush hour to our management team. Thanks for taking the time to share a review. Best, Jen
Gave this cozy country spot a try for lunch recently. The place has a classic old look and feel but could use some sprucing up as it goes beyond charm to tacky cheap kitsch in some ways. Fairly dark interior with a separate dining area with gas fireplace in back of the main bar area in front provides suitable options for families. Food is uneven. My lunch buddy had a decent sandwich while I went for my traditional Friday fish and chips: overbreaded, overcooked in overused oil. Ugh! I'd probably stop back here for a beer or cocktail but doubt I'd venture back for a meal.
You really get just the most basic of jobs whether it's any type of exterior wash or the express detail service. Cleaning is quite superficial and they never adequately dry your vehicle, so you'll always have water spots and streaks. Why are they so busy? No effective competition. Until someone perfects effective, affordable mass production car washing, places like this will continue to thrive. In the meantime, let's pray they creatively destroy their process over time so that it improves.
The biggest problem with this location (the only Hoffman's I've patronized) is the careless attitude reflected in the quality of the cleaning you get here. This is really a superficial quick wipe sort of job you're getting, regardless of if you're getting interior, exterior or both done. The reason I go is $99 for unlimited washes for 3 months during snow season is worth it, especially since I live just a few minutes down the road.
This a fabulous cafe/bakery establishment in the heart of the village. There are a number of bakery, breakfast and lunch selections as well as some frozen goods and prepackaged lunch goods to go. Ample comfortable seating in a classic old New England village home and free WiFi complete the experience.
