Beautiful, elegant restaurant, with excellent service. Food presentation was nicely done, but for me the taste of everything I tried was good, but not great for the price. You can tell they used quality ingredients but, I felt the food in general was under seasoned. The Octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked and tasted very good. The Short Ribs, delicious but the meat was dry, not juicy or succulent at all. Scallops sweet, plump and juicy, but the rest if the dish underwhelming. Monkfish cooked and seasoned perfectly and probably the best dish of the three entrees we had. Drinks were well made and flavorful. The wine list was abundant with many allocated or hard to find wines. With that said you will also pay a premium for those wines and pretty much all the wines on the list, with only a small handful of wines under $100. All in all a good experience, but not what I personally we consider a memorable meal for the prices.
Wow, what a great experience. I believe KPOT is Cleveland's area first all you can eat Korean BBQ and Hot Pot restaurant. It is located in the front, near the center of Southpark Center in Strongsville. First off walking in, the place was clean, well kept and cheerful. The lighting in the large dinning area was subdue with blue undertones, making your table feel a bit more personal and private in the large dining area. Service from Curtis was outstanding and made the experience all that much better. He explained in detail the menu and the process of ordering on the small electronic pad. I went with the Korean BBQ, but you can get both the BBQ and Hot Pot with a small additional charge. He offered recommendations and even helped and made suggestions in some of the cooking process. Once food was ordered it came out extremely quick. Anytime I ordered the food it was out before I could get back to the table from the condiment, sauce table that is located in the front of the restaurant. There you can find dozens of sauces, condiments, a few kimchi items and fresh fruit. It is very easy to order and navigate on the ordering pad, that have very clear pictures of all the food when ordering on the pad so you know what to expect. Everything that I ordered was delicious and presented nicely. Note: great place for someone on a protein or Keto diet as long as you stay away from ordering noodles in the hot pot and rice with the grilled BBQ and some of the sauces that I found to be little on the sweeter side. I look forward to my next visit.

Food and service, both equally outstanding. One of the best overall meals I have had in the Cleveland area in a while. All the food items and drink's tried were made with fresh quality ingredient. The La playa Ceviche Tower is one of the single best dishes I have eaten in the area.Very much reminded me of a meal you would have in a high end restaurant on coast of Mexico. Looking forward to my next visit hopefully soon to try some more delicious food.
Tried Choolaah the other day with a small Togo order. When you enter you can either order at the counter or on the large easy to navigate self-ordering kiosks as you enter. On this visit I ordered the lamb wrap and a Mango Lassi. In my personal opinion I thought the lamb was juicy, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The wrap it was rolled in was soft, fresh and delicious but I truly believe the wrap really needed some kind of sauce to bring it all together. I don't know if it was just missing or if I needed to specify that I wanted some kind of sauce with it. The kiosk didn't give me the option. As far as the mango lassi it did not do anything for me, I did not find it very flavorful at all. Overall I think there is potential here, but on this visit I would say it was slightly above average for me and will give it another try someday. I would recommend giving Choolaah a try if you are looking for a quick healthy options for a meal.

Hi Meeko, thank you for sharing your experience at Choolaah. We appreciate your feedback and have shared your message with our leadership team. We hope you'll give us another chance to delight you in the future.
What I like about this place was the friendly staff and clean kitchen and dining areas. I tried the shrimp and grits after seeing pictures of this menu item on yelp from previous dinners and it did not disappoint. It was a large bowl of plump shrimp in a flavorful sauce served on top of delicious grits. Give this place a try if you are in the area looking for delicious seafood and friendly service.
