Excellent "Happy Hour" across the board - Food, Service, and Ambience (seated outdoors)
We ordered more than shown
And then more
Pretty ambiance. Clean. Friendly staff. Delicious authentic food. What can you ask for more?
Very disappointed
I missed the days when they were 5+ stars when their place was always packed because everyone recognized taste was exceptional, from Pho to grilled pork chop etc. For nostalgia reasons I did their only option - take out for lunch and totally surprised how expensive they've gotten with mediocre grilled chops that was dry due to overcooked.
This is one of my most dependable sushi places to eat after Original Tomoe changed hands. Today was huge disappointment when part of the meal, salmon roll, was more like tuna roll color. Sure enough it didn't sit well with my tummy afterwards. Otherwise, they were their typical dependable quality meal. Wait staff was also less than usual attentiveness.
Used to be a goto dependable dining place when craving for Taiwan style cuisine. Not sure what happened tonight. They were tons of miscommunications among the staff, where for first time we witnessed them cramming, struggling to adapt as they typically do! Somehow they kept messing up orders of others and delayed orders, cause there were a lot of staff screaming back and forth.
We were seated swiftly and our orders came a good timing. But only two out of four dishes were great. Even the most favorite dish of the restaurant- Oyster pancake looked presentable but the chef managed to undercook the dish, so while eating it one can taste the powder did not have sufficient time to cook (they rushed that dish). Meanwhile the live expensive delicious large fish dish was overcooked!
Again, not sure what was happening. Was quite disappointed.
